New Details Emerge for Record-Breaking Dive Coaster, Titan Repaint Continues at Six Flags Over Texas

It feels like this park was so stagnant for a long time, and now they’re adding and redoing so many things at once. Super fun to follow!! Thanks for the frequent updates, these are super fun to watch amidst all of the changes :)

Maybe I’ll go back to six flags over Texas then lol. I’ve swapped over to fiesta Texas a couple years ago and haven’t visited over Texas since. Aqua man wasn’t enough to convince me to return.

I’d love to see an updated kids area & rides walkthrough, or even a full walkthrough tour of the park.

This will be our first year to have season passes- and my first visit is coming up soon after not having been in 25+ years 😅

Love your channel ! I cant say what is going to happen at SFOT as most are still under wraps. There is news coming soon though. The city of Arlington has a strict code about tracks going over walking areas . Maybe the lift hill on Titan will be red.

I spent my childhood going to six flags with my dad and my best friend’s family since 2002. Been on Titan probably a thousand times and rode it when it first opened. It is such a beloved park. The last 10 years, I would say, have been a bummer seeing the park go downhill. I was SO excited when I heard Cedar Fair took over. Finally six flags is getting what it deserves! Seeing rides being replaced is so satisfying. I hope they do something about the old log flume ride at some point. Such an eye sore.

I'm very happy to see there's some TLC finally coming to OT. The park's been frozen in time for almost 20 years. Weirdly the replacement of the pathway at the gotham city section gives me the most hope. It desperately needs not just new pavement but some kind of theming and trees around the Riddler/ Joker area. Something to make it look less like a parking lot carnival.

IMO, Fiesta’s food is just as expensive & tastes about as bad.

The food prices are crazy, but I have a dining plan for Magic Mountain and have probably already paid it off for this year. Its interesting though because our Johnny Rockets double burger only costs $19.99 compared to Over Texas and IS included with the meal plan. Typically thats my go to meal for one of my meals when I visit Magic Mountain

How do you feel after going to Fiesta then returning home to Over Texas? Does it feel underwhelming or still have charm?

Most of the Cedar Fair large marquee coasters are in the blue and white color scheme. That said, I’m very curious what the new coaster will look like. Also with as careful as they are being with El Diablo I still believe it will remain at the park just in a different location (still think it would be funny if it ends as the third iteration of Harley Quinn’s Spinsanity).

If I lived right in between six flags over Texas and fiesta Texas, each park is just 2 hours away. Sounds nice, but for some reason I can’t picture ever going north. Fiesta Texas is just so awesome and visually trumps over Texas by a long shot. Over Texas has some updating to do, and I think they should add not just the one but 2 more coasters. The dive one will be great, but Hybrid coasters are the future and they need to make another.

Last I saw the engines were all next to the Texas depot area. Been a month or so, but you could see them all from the Texas giant line.

What day are you going when the park looks as dead as it is in these videos. I have a season pass with my family and having young kids it's hard to stay in the lines for a long time so it would be nice to go when it's less crowded

Six Flags Over Texas has lost its identity for several years. We went at the beginning of Spring Break, we were very disappointed with most the ride closures, temporary shut downs; such as Pirates. Many of the shops, food courts, and some Mudway games were closed. I’m not sure what’s going on with this theme park, but I do feel management is one of the problems.
