Andre is a walking Botanist.
ОтветитьBeautiful, almost like a little fairy glen or hobbit house. Just no good for my height, but wonderful all the same. We wait with eagerness for your videos. Always learning new information & great videos also. Thanks guys!
ОтветитьThe terrace ŵalls look amazing, very very old. How old do you think they might be?
ОтветитьPossibly my favorite you've shown, ever. And I'm not even finished watching. Thanks for sharing! I've been looking forward to seeing your next video and it was well worth the wait. Just dreamy. I must finish the video!😂 Yall keep on keepin' on. ❤
ОтветитьNice piece of property and very well priced ❤ I do miss your recipes Joseph...
ОтветитьA pleasure to view as usual , thanks Joseph and André 😊
ОтветитьGreat stuff joe as always!
I could be wrong, but i think the first plant might of been a mallow and the 2nd on the bottom terrace silvery leaves and grows tall with little yellow flowers could be Verbascum. Bees love it
Joseph, just a quick question. The brambles that you speak about quite often in your videos; are they berry brambles?
ОтветитьMarshmallow as someone has already stated. It is great for skin problems. Lovely property and if I was single and a lot younger I would be there. Thankyou guys…from an old Aussie. I am on an acre second property in. This is in a small town in South West Victoria. I can only have 4 hooved animals and 10 birds. Best we could find as prime volcanic land and can only buy big properties now.
ОтветитьMalvas are called mallow in english. They have a real pretty flower.
ОтветитьThis is a very pretty biologic homestead with nor worries for water and so many trees. I love it, Joseph. If i were 30 years younger, i'd jump at this one! It's the 1st tiny ruin i've liked, and i'd certainly tap you for your recommended professionals to rebuild it. This setting gives me Secret Garden vibes. I'd surely ask you over often to teach me how to forage the land 😊. This is going to snapped up so quickly that i won't have hardly any time to daydream about it 😄. Thanks so much for your presentations.

ОтветитьI’m always amazed when i video chat with the nieces and nephews in the Philippines. They are all teenagers now and those that were teens then are out of college and married with children.
A friend of mine just spent 4 months in Dumaguette. I was in Tanjay back in 2009 and enjoyed the area. My friend didn’t like it because he said there were lots of expats there and most were talking bad about the US which I never understood.
My wife wants to visit there on our next trip to the Philippines. Just don’t know when that will happen because I really got an itch to see Portugal!
Hello Joseph! I have been searching for the perfect property to create my new life, and I believe this is it! I have sent an email and am very excited to speak with your team about purchasing this property. Thank you so much for finding and posting this beautiful place 💚

What is the common name for Malva plant?
common mallow
Malva sylvestris, commonly known as common mallow but also known as wood mallow, tree mallow and high mallow, is native to Europe, western Asia and northern Africa. It is similar in appearance to the genera Hibiscus and Alcea.
Was that a barn or a house?
ОтветитьReally loved this combo of exploring the property for sale and discovering the foraging opportunities... It's all just so pretty and green this time of year. Great video thanks. :)
ОтветитьThe malvus probably wild mallow can have a mauve or white flower. The tall fellow flowered plant is wild verbascum the leaves are slightly hairy and we're used as torch leaves soaked in pitch or wax.
ОтветитьGreat video Joseph. Lovely property. The plant that produces lots of yellow flowers on a tall stem is Verbascum 👍🏻
ОтветитьJoe, can you build something outside the ruin?
ОтветитьThose boulders look like a mini Stonehenge. This property looks quite manageable. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьBeautiful video Joe always lovely looking around the properties, love the stream , take care ,😊❤x
ОтветитьI wanna buy it!!🫶🤞🏻🤞🏻
ОтветитьOlá Joseph! Love watching your videos! Congrats on your Portuguese! It's very nice to see your efforts in speaking our language! Malvas in English is Mallow. And André forgot or maybe doesn't know that we also use it as a tea and as a cleanser to help treat uti's.
All the best! xx
Hello Joseph, I simply adore your videos. This property is adorable. Unfortunately, it is too big for my age to take care of it.
I was born in Medelim, which is not very far. I live in USA and I am thinking about a property in the region for my retirement.
I will continue to watch your videos and maybe something will come forth,
thank you for nice videos

It was reallly tough but we managed to buy our plot of land, near Coimbra. It took every penny we have ever earned and had about 3 euros left after some unexpected tax's etc. is now connected to power, foundations in place, animal structures etc but no money left to actually put a house on it hahahahahhahaha
ОтветитьJoseph... 1st query “Malvis” or Mallow in English and has a number of uses and benefits both traditionally and in modern use cultures. One of the primary and consistent uses is as an anti-inflammatory. The second (wide leaf and with large flower heads is “Dock” which also has many uses both traditionally and in modern applications as well.
Nice project property here... many thanks for sharing it with those of us from afar.
This looks like so much more than 1 acre. Verdant land.
ОтветитьThat property would be perfect if it was over 3 hectares. Joe, I was not a huge fan of yours, but then I watched the episode from OK Portugal on the killing of your turkey, I could see in your face that was nothing you took lightly, and you gave those birds a caring humane death, I have so much respect for you and your process, Thank you!!
ОтветитьMalvas is Mallow in English. :)
ОтветитьAmazing!!!!!
ОтветитьCan you do some videos about costs of building this and that. Fitouts etc. might be good business for some local builders doing a couple of walk through showcasing their work and costs of that work. Love the vids from Australia. Be there soon
ОтветитьWhat an incredibly beautiful property. ❤
ОтветитьHi, the English for Malva is Mallow. You can use it to make stuffed 'vine leaves' too
ОтветитьHello Joseph! I am very seriously interested in this property. I have been communicating with Lucy via email, but is there any way we can speak about submitting an offer on this property? Is a video appointment an option? I just have a few questions and am a bit anxious that it might be sold before I arrive in Portugal on Dec. 2nd. Thank you!

ОтветитьI can't find you on facebook...?. I am very interested and driven to move to Central Portugal by the way in the next 12 months. I need a good guide and I think I have found the perfect candidate. Lol. I am about to become a published author, do art, sculpt and I'm also a soil analysist. Looking forward to getting out there and making contacts before I go.
