If Earth is a flat disk with an ice wall surrounding us at the edge, how do you explain why the air near the ground is below freezing temperature at the edge and gets warmer as you move towards the center? It can be well below zero in Antarctica and 100 degrees F in places near the equator, then after the equator it starts getting cold again as you get closer to the "center". When you use a zoom camera on a ship the ship appears full and in all its glory because your viewing angle increases and so does the resolution of the greater angle as the ship appears closer. This is high school physics. Ask any physics teacher about the limiting angle. He/she can even explain why an eagle sees more details than a human eye. It's the optics, bro.
Why is the ship "disappearing" from the bottom? You start at the horizon and as you see more vertical space your viewing angle increases. With greater angle you resolve more, and with lesser angle you resolve less and less. Guess what. This is how sun sets over the horizon bottom first. With smaller and smaller angle the evening turns into night.

I know this is off topic. On the subject of water being level. Flat Earth theory states that our water on this place we live is level. Therefore, where we live cannot be a sphere. Globers believe that our water (lakes and oceans) are indeed level, but they are level with the center of the earth and that level changes as you move from your original position. This would mean water of different levels would be right next to each other. Do you believe that water of different levels can coexist? I got 10K says they cannot and where we live is actually flat (relatively, mountains and such)) and our continents and oceans are not making up a globe.

Ok, so I legitimately do not believe any of this, but am interested in trying to understand the reasoning behind this belief. I ask questions, not in a challenging way, but as a means to understand.

1) Has no one been in a plane? How do you explaim the earth's curvature at altitude?

2) Boats sink behind the horizon line, indicating curvature. Please explain this phenomenon

3) Ice wall???? What proof is there to verify this??? I mean, if it's a wall, we should be able to go right up to it like any other wall...

4) What photographic evidence is there to prove the earth is flat? We've seen photos of from NASA, of astronauts in space, orbiting the earth.... what counter can you offer to this?

5) Flat earth's theory would assume there is no planetary core. If that is true, please explain geothermal eruptions and the shifting of tectonic plates. In theory, the ice wall isn't strong enough to stop shifting plates from floating right off the edge...

6) If our reality is one dimensional (flat), why do we not see everything in a 1 dimensional space, instead of 3 dimensionally?

7) You said that we've been lied to about the Earth being round. What is the purpose of covering this up? why would anyone need to hide this fact? It makes no sense...

8) If the Earth is flat, then there must be something on the other side of it? What it is? Every image I've ever seen of the earth in this theory shows the earth in the appearance of a Spinning Top. 9) If the earth is flat, then what is stopping someone in Texas from seeing someone in China? ... Even with the aid of binoculars or telescopes...

The formula for AirSpeed to ground speed when flying at the same altitude is - AirSpeed equals ground speed accounted for wind. The hypothetical rotation or curvature is never a factor.
