The guns are concealed. People freak out at open carry, even though it is legal. It is mostly liberals in the US that are ignorant about gun usage. The schools do not teach it. So most people have conceal carry permits.

A twelve lane highway is nothing. West of Houston is the Katy Freeway, which has up to 26 lanes (including parallel service roads).

That squatting law isn't true and lands a lot of people in jail.

What it is, if you live in an engineering house AND pay the delinquent property taxes and then keep up on the taxes the property becomes yours. I forget how many years.
BUT most neighbors are watching vacant houses and you'll go to jail if they catch you before the time is up as trespassing, breaking and entering.

In the US, we never had homeless in suburban wealthy areas. That was only something I saw in Mexico when I visited as a child. I was shocked then to see it (but that was a 3rd world country). I remember telling my friends about 10 years ago that the US was starting to look like a 3rd world country as wages became stagnant and inflation blew up, as well as drugs, and laws becoming lenient for loitering and people living in tents. This is a new phenomenon for the US as well.

Most places in the US that allow you to carry a gun are considered "conceal carry" which means that the gun is concealed.

The accent you hear in American movies comes from an early premis in national broadcasting to come up with an accent that was generic and non regional. It then kind of became the defacto west coast "non-accent"

It's called Conceal and Carry for a reason.. It's so nobody knows whether or not you're armed, but mostly everyone in Texas is.. People who buy guns and register them don't shoot people. they offer safety and for hunting.. Illegal guns are brought in over the border and they're not registered and those are the ones the bad guys have.. Which is the whole reason the good guys don't get rid of ours.. These people don't understand that the Second Amendment was created to enforce our First Amendment..

It’s very likely you passed and saw a LOT of people with guns on them. Open Carrying (visible) guns isn’t the norm. Drastically more people conceal carry….like 95% of gun carriers.

You didn't see guns because most Americans carry concealed under our clothes. If you see one it's because something is popping off and we have to take care of business.

We are nicer than we are portrayed. But your comments about guns made me LOL. In a lot of states, the gun laws are concealed carry, which means 1) you shouldn't see the gun nor its imprint in the clothing and 2) way more people were actually carrying and armed but you just didn't know it, at least in Texas.

Even within Texas—like a lot of places—accents will vary. It's less twnagy in the cities as you'd expect. A buddy of mine was from rural Texas, and he went to college and made friends who then came home with him for a visit. He said he went into the feed store with them, chatted up the old men there he knew to catch up, they got back to the car and they laughed and asked asked "what the hell was that?!" They had never heard him speak in his rural voice. Apparently he switched it on without really noticing but his city friends definitely could tell and they thought it was amazing.

Apparently I have a Texas accent. Never thought I did. But since moving to the PNW, people have brought it to my attention. When I lived in the South my buddies there said it came out when I was really animated or emotional. Especially if I was angry. Some angry Texas rancher lives in me deep down I guess.

Ok, that was a fun watch (I was born & raised in America)! I was NOT expecting the guns thing, though. Do foreigners truly believe that there are guns, wide out in the open, all around us? Yes, we own more firearms than every other country combined, but there are laws about brandishing guns in the open, ESPECIALLY in NYC and most other big cities.
Also, I was NOT expecting to hear you rave about the fast food......really?! And, yes, it's A LOT more expensive in cities than it is in rural areas.
Anyway, nice video.....hope ya'll come back now, y'hear! 🤣

And here in the US, they'd have us believe that the wealthy are the ones suffering, so they are the ones that get all the tax cuts. It's unbelievable. And even though the wealthy have all the power, everything gets blamed on poor people. Clearly the wealthy do a good job of brainwashing the average American to fight amongst themselves, while they rob the country blind.

Why does the world call it “America”? It’s the USA or United States of America. Calling it America makes it seem like we are one homogeneous country. We are more like the EU. When the states were labeled “states” the word state meant the same thing as country.

In the US we citizens usually carry concealed. Tactically it’s smart because you’re not advertising it and making yourself a target. You also don’t want to invite thieves. It’s just a lot safer and more tactically sound to conceal.

I spent many years working with homeless children, teens, adults and elderly. The American system is not good at helping or managing our homeless population. People around the world have a lot of misconceptions about the homeless in general. A large percentage have disabilities or are injured veterans that are completely neglected by society. It's sad that we can't take care of our own people but I think this is a global issue that needs to be addressed. Another large percevtage is teens and children who have run away from abusive families or have been trafficked. This is also a demographic that is never addressed or talked about. I worked with a lot of homeless teens and children. It's extremely sad and I wish there was more help for people who deserve it the most.
