Too many cars parking in the adjacent lanes. It seems that a lot of the road surface is made of cement rather than asphalt, and the lane markings aren't very clear either. Keep it up!

I see this reoccurring pattern with Indian cities - the architecture is very impressive, grand and modern but the roads, sidewalks and landscaping - the overall ground infrastructure, scale and design - is absolutely terrible, unkept, dirty and outdated. You have state of the art buildings completely undermined and degraded by roads that belong in a back alley slum. Just watch any driving video of Shenzhen's CBD - the roads and sidewalks are cleaned daily, the hedges and trees trimmed weekly, the road markings always repainted if they become faded. Honestly, if you take a picture of various CBD's in Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines - they will be comparable with China - but I can always tell it's India because of the road standards and cleanliness. India really has to get it's act together when it comes to maintenance and upkeep. That's it's biggest problem.

Hope someday Chennai will look like this.... Honestly, I'm fed up with Chennai. My city with such a majestic past is just getting ignored in present by both central and state government.

BKC is one of the most expensive commercial location in the world. But I’m sorry to say it is infrastructure not world class. There is no proper road marking and signs . Roads quality is below par. Auto rickshaws should be banned in BKC ..
