But the style of the presenter of this program is that he says the following words after each historical piece of information: Maybe, I think, I expect, etc.
The presenter of this program was unable to provide conclusive scientific evidence about the existence of a human civilization in the Ice Age.

Just finished watching this and Season 1 and it blew me away. I started taking notes towards the end and making a list of places to visit here in the Americas and now I have to rewatch all of it just to complete my notes. WELL DONE!! I could watch these all day and over and over again!

the arrogance that archeology believes that they would have discovered it by now is amazing. They sound like Charles H. Duell, who In 1889, was the Commissioner of US patent office. He is widely quoted as having stated that the patent office would soon need to shrink in size, and eventually close, because, according to his perspective: — Everything that can be invented has been invented. Not everything has been found and they have definitely not dug deep enough. For crying out loud we have only explored like 10% of the oceans on earth.

I watched this on netflix and its a fun and interesting watch. Graham Hancock has some interesting theories and presents some very valid questions. However, he turned me off by his frequent comments against the archeological and academic community and by presenting himself as a "victim" of those communities. He who wants respect must first give it. I heard nothing but disrespect to the archeological community. If there is sufficient evidence of an advanced civilization 20,000 years ago then a paper should be published and if it stands up to academic rigor then you'd see the community accept it, they seek the truth always.

What Mr. Hancock is failing to understand as an investigative journalist is that archeology is a science and as such, it uses methods totally different than journalists use when investigating corruption, crime, etc. Until someone invents a time machine, archeologists must use scientific methods to carefully reconstruct the past, like peeling layers from an onion. Based on their finds, they submit hypotheses to the academic community by publishing papers which the community reads and critiques the conclusions and the methods used to come to those conclusions. Frequently, archeologists will disagree among themselves on a particular topic.

One point very difficult for me to accept which Graham kept stating without explaining was how did it happen that some "bearded wise man/architect/giant" travel all over the world seeding knowledge after the apocalypse. His theories really hinge on this point. His mental process reminds me of Erich von Däniken's Chariots Of the Gods. Like him, Mr. Hancock also has a conflict of interest. He gives lectures and writes books, making money off this topic. He is not impartial as archeologists are. Its clouds his conclusions.

One last thing I will mention as an engineer. All around the world we see pyramid ruins and people assume that aliens or some advanced civilization must have spread the idea. Those who think this are missing a very obvious point. The ancients had the same brain as you and I. A pyramid is the most stable structure one can build. They figured it out independently. Rock building was their tech. Kids building rock forts will often arrive at the conclusion that stones must slope inward. Its not rocket science.

There will still be idiots who will call this show “rAcïst”, because they immediately think that the possibility of an advanced predecessor civilisation somehow undermines them and their achievements! Not at any point does the show suggest that this civilization was KHwhite! I feel Graham is hinting that this sea-faring civilisation could be ancestors of the Polynesians! So many cool places shown! Thank you!

The deception that people are waking up to in politics, tech, archeology and pretty much every "official" landscape goes back thousands of years.. Christianity is one of the oldest ones.. Religion created by the same ones that have caused very serious problems, and they still do. Hinduism is another religion based on lies, taken by hindu from white people over 10,000 years ago and twisted to fit the ruling class and oppress the common people forever. Not to mention the obvious lie about the birthplace of humanity and races.. The African theory, that people have emerged there first and all the races have evolved from Africans is a bad joke. Most of everything is a lie, carefully crafted by the same group over 2 thousands of years. And nowadays, they even managed to brainwash a big portion of people to the point where they don't know what gender they are.. Absolutely insane.

I enjoyed it ofcourse, but I have to say that season 1 was more eye opening and profound.

People got it all wrong, its not that complicated. Structures are not used for astronomy, but simply for meteorology and climatology. High areas for evacuation against flood. After the Younger dryas wc resulted to severe floods,severe weather due to mixture of ice to sea water, survivors try to study and prepare for the next one. They correlated climate swings to the stars and sun.
-Imagine if you were living at that age, and you want to prepare your people for another similar younger dryas event, what will you do.
This is all about survival. In comparison to today, we are still studying how to predict earthquakes , thus we study different instrumentations and make evacuations area for tsunami.

I’m a combat veteran and this man has more courage than I’ve ever known or witnessed . Going up against an onslaught of scholars, in learned,specialized fields not for fame and glory but for the simple questions. He goes toe to toe with the self styled Demi gods of all fields, in their turf ! Be it poodcasts, TV documentaries, magazine articles and still finds time to write other books. In my book and I am just a person with an open mind and average this man rocks! I have every book he’s written because it’s intelligent and it makes you think outside the norm
