In one interview ss mother says she reacted to Maddie sleeping in their bed. But instead of making M a bed of her own she had M sleep in HER bed. Somewhere here there is a pattern. Is it normal for ss parents to sleep in the same bed as their children? That would have influenced how ss sees it as ”normal” for a child, even an older child, to share a bed with adults. I feel there are some boundary issues that ss parents created.

Is he really this obsessed with his watch—if you're new, he goes on about trying to find his watch in most of the phone calls with his parents—or is it code for something else, maybe evidence, that he doesn't want anyone else to find?
His parents can't actually think the watch is going to be worth enough to reimburse them for any of this mess.
Even if they think they're going to set up a trust, or something, to keep his comasary account topped up after they're gone, the watch is still not going to bring in that much money. Not unless someone really wants that specific model for some reason and is willing to pay a premium for it.

It seems like they believe they have a right to privacy in regards to this case (court files, jail files, phone calls, etc). It also seems like they feel as if they are being victimized in a way by this information being "leaked" (as they call it here). However, Stephan did not believe Maddie had the right to any kind of privacy and safety, so he (and every offender) deserve to have the world know every little detail about what they did and every detail on the road the justice. Stephan not only harmed Maddie for many years, but he took photos of it and I have no doubt that he shared those photos with his friends.

"i never would have wanted to hurt her" is NOT " i did not hurt her." guilty people use WOULD a lot when they lie, so it sounds like they are denying the crime but in fact they are not.
