Hes not using them to describe anxiety, this verse is all about faith in him. And that he will always take care of his people.

The incredible depth, beauty, and richness in this verse is mind blowing, (actually every verse in our Bible is) but in speaking about this one: before I became born again having debilitating anxiety was something I pretty much accepted as normal. It became part of my existence bc I was stuck with my focus on the sinful world—what it offered was what I thought gave me fulfillment and purpose…

What a recipe for disaster, death, and misery!

I find when my mind gets stuck in the world and my thoughts, feelings, and perceptions of what’s true and righteous get distorted, sins like mistrust, greed, ingratitude, doubt…the list goes on and on—begin to take over. Worry, fear of the unknown, and anxiety become debilitating at times and it’s all because I’ve shut the Lord out, and allowed the enemy to creep in and get me to accept his lies regarding what’s most important.

What an amazing thing that our God even commands us not to worry or have anxiety! The precious opportunity of life everlasting that’s been so lovingly given to those who ask Him has value of profound and never ending proportion—beyond what our mind can comprehend or even imagine.

I think He is also saying to look to nature & his creation to help with anxiety & wellbeing.

Don't forget the bats !😉

Also,Jesus says “Look at the birds” to plant the idea in his followers minds - that every time they see birds - they will be reminded of this message. This is about mindfulness - living in the present moment and forgetting about the future. Not easy to do. And so he plants the idea through a metaphor people will see all the time - birds in the sky. It's simple really, a child don't worry about anything so he doesn't have to worry but to obey his father because he knows that as long as he trust his father, his father will provide, that's the reason the passage ends with; oh you of little faith!

I don't know about you but "Don't care about money and only care about God" sounds like something the rich would make up to manipulate the masses to just work for a simple life and continue being slaves of capitalism. financial slavery by social engineering.

Loved this! I already understood the basics of this passage but never to this depth, love, and beauty. It has made me meditate on my Bible year reading which I fall off by the month of February. And it's because I'm reading the Bible in terms of quantity and not quality: it will take longer but it will be fulfilling and meaningful for my life, I'm sure that.

I just want to say I don't need every video to be this short of 15 minutes though.It's kinda nice because I watched long videos all the time however, Your videos sometimes can be too long.... I don't have three hours a lot of times for 1 single video. In fact, Sometimes all I have is maybe a 1/2 hour or whatever if something's worth it and I do have a couple hours.I will definitely sit there and watch the whole thing to the end.But I noticed your videos are two and three hours on a regular basis and that's a long time. I'm hoping maybe and praying that you can take these thoughts and ideas and shorten them some so that they are a little bit more consumable..... Time wise. Other than having said that I really appreciate your study and meditation on God's word.
