I assume the handle will become heavily scuffed after just a few uses if it's propped and slid in that manner.

Horizontal systems are great until you have 150 pounds of tools to hoist up every time you wanna move it

Load that full of nuts screws, batteries and tools. Then bend over and move it around.
The center of gravity puts more than half the weight on the handle bar. Maybe not for work, but would love to have it in the garage.
