Is it enough to save my main password in plain text? it's admin123 btw 🤔
Ответитьyou just use this to hold a key for a wallet right
ОтветитьAs long as it survives a Linus drop
ОтветитьBoring!
Ответитьthats really cool!
Ответитьhow did you swap out the usb wit the ssd that was sick af
ОтветитьNoice!
ОтветитьIs Linus in Vancouver, BC?! That's where I live!!! Awesome.
Ответить55ns ram, welcome back to 1991
ОтветитьIf it runs fast, why put it on usb-a? USB4/Thunderbolt seems better. Or M.2. or whatever else that's fast
ОтветитьIs this episode Super Troopers X Better Call Saul" Tech Addition?
ОтветитьSo, who found the USB?
ОтветитьImagen, 200 years in the future and they find this USB.
At LAST ancient tech we can still read!!!
Just for it to be a text log that says, "DEEZ NUTS"
just carve it into a stone tablet, much cheaper and probably last longer.
ОтветитьSo, does that mean when you use a language like C++ and use a pointer, it is able to do that because of RAM, you can grab any part whenever you want without having to surf the tidal wave of data?
ОтветитьWAN show helped me through the day and this vid is going to help me fall asleep. My family is in rough shape and y’all’s content is exactly what I need right now. So thank you!
Ответитьmy issue was never having any data getting corrupted or anything of the sort, just keep losing my goddamn flash drives
ОтветитьI’m personally a huge fan of mram technology
ОтветитьYou know what could contain 8000 characters and could survive even more time and a FeRAM?
A damn book.
Linus Magic Tips
ОтветитьIt’s cool tech. But I’ll stick to ZFS on cheap drives. Hasn’t failed me in over 10 years.
Ответитьthis is pretty cool but I think the reason it won't catch on in the mainstream has to do with digital storage manufacturer is needing to manufacture more storage I mean think about it if you had a one terabyte boot Drive that will still be functional long after you're gone then you wouldn't need to buy another one so how would the storage manufacturer be able to make money after everyone buys one
Ответитьseems like linus and co. watched super troopers
ОтветитьWhat happened to hologram crystals? They were promising us data could be stored on those with new data just by changing the viewing angle.
Ответитьmen I trust mentioned
ОтветитьMan, for 32 bucks having a extremely safe way to store a text file almost seems worthwhile... Might have to get me some VERY pricey kilobytes
ОтветитьJust waiting for the first person to get Doom running on it 😅
ОтветитьMouser says I can get 16Mbit CY15V116QN-40BKXA Infineon FeRAM for 44.50$ each if I buy 480 of them. I could have ~8 gigs of FeRam for 20k.
ОтветитьI can't wait for the people of the future to find one of these with a link to a rick roll.
Ответить100 usd for cargo pants .... What ??
Ответитьstill bigger than the RAM on a VIC-20
ОтветитьI enjoyed this video. I have heard of this tech before but you explained it much more clearly.
ОтветитьThat phone number calls the Rickroll hotline.
ОтветитьThese kinds of videos are my favorite
ОтветитьYeah it’s probably USB 3.2 Gen 2x4x8x16x32x64x128x256x512
Ответитьreally effin tired of adam showing up, skipping another ltt video
ОтветитьHonestly, a video on "how long can your pc last while being dusty before you have to clean it" would be cool
ОтветитьI still have a 170Mb hard disc drive from my first pc build from 1993 - it still works perfectly whenever I use it. I keep it for using old industrial pc isa backplane systems where I use dos and turbo-pascal since I have a few great opto-isolated isa interface boards from that era - it's like having the discrete i/o of a dozen raspberry pi boards on one system.
ОтветитьBit keys 😮
Ответитьpi pico
ОтветитьMissed the opportunity to write the name tag as "Occifer" instead of officer.
ОтветитьThis video was great, very Bill Nye energy
ОтветитьFor anyone wondering, this is mainly used for storing private keys for crypto wallets.
ОтветитьThanks for watching!
THE USB DRIVE HAS BEEN LOCATED CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU FOR PLAYING
