Well, something is definitely going on in my case. I just started dating an amazing guy a couple of weeks ago. We met online roughly 3 weeks ago and our first date was 12 days ago. He is divorced and I am a widow. Our first date went so incredibly well (it lasted 8 hours) that, just 5 days later (last weekend), we went out of town together for the entire weekend. We spent the whole weekend together from Friday to Sunday and it was incredible. We stayed in a hotel together and, while we may have fooled around (sounds funny saying that since I'm 41 and he's 53), but we haven't actually had sex yet, but we both REALLY want to! I'll admit that I have REALLY fallen for this guy and I just want to be with him. I normally wouldn't move so fast, but neither of us have EVER felt this deep of a connection before. It was nearly instant. We both immediately felt comfortable with each other. He worked in law enforcement for 30 years, first as a municipal police officer and then as a federal investigator, so he's extremely good at reading people and situations and he keeps telling me that he has gotten an amazing impression of me and that he has never wanted to spend time with someone this much before in his entire life. We just can't get enough of each other. Ever since our first date nearly 2 weeks ago, he texts me EVERY SINGLE MORNING right around the same time when he's on his way to the gym. Another thing that I love is that he ALWAYS uses emojis in his texts! He frequently sends me hearts and the kissing emoji, which I always reciprocate! He also frequently sends me romantic memes to express how he feels about me. Not only that, but he sends me cute/funny memes as well. He's an amazing listener as well (probably from being in law enforcement and an investigator as well as working undercover for so many years) and he remembers literally everything that I have told him about my life as he has brought it back up in other conversations. We are supposed to be going away together again this weekend on another trip out of town (I'm just waiting to hear back from him to firm up our plans), so I really can't wait to see where this goes!
