As an artists who is getting into wood burning would you be able to post where you buy your dyes? I have a few projects that I would so use some color and I really want to keep the natural wood grains

Sadly it seems tops like these almost have to live in the case or the even stray UV takes a toll on the colors and brilliance..

My toxic trait is thinking I could blend the colors easily as that 😂

Obviously it was all beautiful, but I think I liked the more contrasting pink in the center with dark blueish; and even the mostly pink more than the final product!

This just makes me more angry that my "translucent blue" came out so blue that its basically all black and cant even see the wood under it lol.... i just KNOW whats under there and its so frustrating!!!! Lol

The only problem is the fact that it changes drastically over time. Especially PRS's blue colors such as Whale Blue/Faded Denim turns into weird ugly yellowy gray-white color, and their gradation fades away pretty quick. In fact, their PS beauty only remains for about a decade or less.

PRS finishes don't last too long, in many cases, they're only good when they came out new. The colors fades and-or changes, degrades too fast. One of the top 5 international dealers sells PRS PS models with retail prices of $16K, and in some cases, they sell it for about $10K only after less than 3 years of manufacturing and importing the guitars. Why? It's because of two reasons, firstly, PS models are expensive so it takes time to be sold and secondly, PRS finishes are weak and unstable that within only 3 years or even less, it changes EVEN in professionally controlled stock warehouses. So the dealer has to put'em as blemish model with massive discount.

PRS guitars are some of the highest quality, best looking, best playing and best sounding guitars made today…and they are made here in the USA by real craftsmen!

It is the most beautiful and well-built instrument in the world! I have a Korean PRS. One day I will have an American. It's my dream!
