Mary never got any breaks the moment she was born. The death of her father, her mother in law not liking her, her subjects thinking her the foreigner, the poor choices of husbands save for Francis doomed her, fleeing to England was probably the biggest blunder. Had she made better life choices Mary would've been better remember as a wise queen.

Mary was a woman of her time. She was weak! Not the Queen Elizabeth was at all.

It was a dangerous era for queens to rule their countries. And mary didn't realized that she made herself an easy target. Maybe if she wasn't so stubborn and listen to her cousin Elizabeth I she would had been considered equal to Elizabeth I. Sadly the only good thing she did was given birth to her son james who became rule Scotland and England.

Her health made her life hell, and her son inherited it.
