ОтветитьOh wow! Magnificent! Thank you so much for posting this. I love Michaels playing so much and this band is superb.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this!
ОтветитьWhat a super line up!!!
ОтветитьIt’s like watching MST3K with bigger silhouettes. 😁
ОтветитьThank you for posting this!🙏🤘
ОтветитьThank you! What a great band!
ОтветитьTo be onest, I don’t likethe landau thing thosedays…… he was such an incredible „ modern Hendrix Follower“ in the 90ies ….. like to hear again those epic floydrose chords an great solo lines….
ОтветитьDear Mike Landau… go back to what makes you great…..
ОтветитьQuick thoughts, at around the halfway point: I didn't know Gary Husband wrote "City Nights"! That's a great tune! Hard not to miss Holdsworth's amazing runs, by comparison. I must say, Gary's playing here has provided a lot of the high points, so far. He's clearly playing as great as ever. Also, the dub-y deconstruction of "Led Boots" was cool. See, I don't mind the idea of Mike playing fusion type material. I just wish there was a bit more variety in tempos and energy level. And I do think a certain "samey-ness" has crept into his solos, in recent years. Comparing what I've heard so far from this gig to, say, his "Johnny Swing" solo on Live 2000, I do understand why some comments here are underwhelmed. And, before you come after me, realize that I am a HUGE Landau fan. He's still amazing, and his feel and tones are to die for, as ever. Anyway, let's see what the rest has on offer...
ОтветитьMany highlights, but "City Nights" for me is a treat of treats with Allan Holdsworth's rhythm section -- especially Husband on drums -- with Landau. Johnson has played with Landau for decades and is still magnificent. All three together is just beautiful.✨✨✨✨
ОтветитьCity Nights! That was unexpected.
ОтветитьMike is the only player up there with Scott Henderson. Jim and Gary, well, no need for introduction of course. What a trio these gentlemen are!!
ОтветитьSeems to sound almost identical to Scott Henderson and Beck mixed
ОтветитьAwesome sauce!
ОтветитьYes!!!
ОтветитьCongrats! Thanks for posting!
ОтветитьGood tempo here for I'm Buzzed. Landau has let the tempo creep up over the decades to the point where it ruined the song. This is probably twice the tempo of the original recording but works.
ОтветитьWas there a 6'6" Serbian guy named Zoran Milicevic there?
Ответитьvery Holdsworth ish
ОтветитьWhere is Jimmy?? You’re recording a three piece band and you don’t bother recording the third member? Not to mention one of the best Jazz bass players around????
ОтветитьIncredible.
ОтветитьGreat artist, great music, but video not so good visually. Who likes to watch the back of peoples heads?
Ответитьmaestros! Gary biiiiiig drummer.
ОтветитьHab ich verstanden
Mega gut erklärt
Dankeschön 🎉
I was at this performance - the other side of the audience (closer to Jimmy)
What a great show!
thanks very much for sharing.
ОтветитьDumble ~SLIDEWINDER~ head on stage.
ОтветитьNot the best video angle and poor quality spoiled it for me, sad to say. Some of Landau’s stuff was too far out there for me.
ОтветитьYeeah! Where is Jimmy? Unfair to him!!!
ОтветитьNice to se the Coma guitar
Ответитьbad copy of Jeff Beck
