When I heard the Hound say Gendry not to btch about it, I might have been on edge because of them doing stupid sht beyond the wall but it did not came to me as bad ass, more like just a great example of toxic masculinity. And no, I am not a feminist by any means but Gendry was right to be angry at them.

Another good line in season 8: watch how Tyrion reacted to Varys saying the letter he holds is sealed by high authorities and it's unbroken.

Olenna's line was too cliché. I've read it and heard it so many times that I think D&D copied it from somewhere. Doesn't deserve 1st place.

I like how he’s saying that Tyrion telling Dany not to go rescue Jon was terrible advice when it literally resulted in her dragon being murdered, resurrected as a wight, and the wall coming down

I really liked a Jons line when everyone confronted him that he didn't lie to Cersei about serving Dany. It goes like: But when enough people make false promises. Words stop meaning anything. Then there are no more answers, only better and better lies.

Walder Frey's "leave one wolf alive" was good

I think there generally good dialogue scenes overall in Season 7. Tyrion and Cersei in the finale, Jamie and Olenna in episode 3, I also really like the scene where Daenerys interrogates Varys in episode 2. It’s harder to find generally good dialogue scenes in season 8

Honestly number 10 should be nowhere near this list. It's not an "epic hound moment" it's just them making fun of Gendry for being sexually assaulted. Disgusting writing from Dave and Dan.

I like a Tyrion one from season 8 when the council convenes after Jon kills Dany: "No one is very happy, which means it's a good compromise, I suppose."
The phrasing may not be anything special, but the ideia it conveys is great.

13 is just a rewording of Tyrion's "Making honest feelings do dishonest work is one of her (Cersei's) many gifts" from his talk with Oberyn in S4E7

Gosh the fact that those are the 20 best lines in the last seasons says a lot about the writing. Like those are not great lines.

That's what happens when you look at the show through a biased lens. You've only shuffled through for the most part lines which reward and affirm cynicism. Missed the point of the show completely:

Regardless of who she is, it would be suicidal & stupid to put your lady, who's a child in BATTLE

Her death in Season 8 was pretty laughable to me. A small child running at a white walker giant. What did she think was gonna happen?

She was definitely a cool character, but pretty unrealistic. If she was to even fight, it would be more likely in the distance with long-range weapons instead. If Lyanna had been older, taller & more fit, then maybe I could've
bought it.
