That’s special skates!! I actually figure skate and you get normal skates for around $100-$200. Although I sometimes also buy skates off eBay, I recently got some for abt $30 wich originally cost abt $200. They’re in a very good condition tho!!

I'm so so lucky that for rental skates I got brand new Edea Motivo for only 90$ (80 euros) and that I get to keep them for the entire year at my club

In Europe, Edea Skates Are actually way cheaper. I payed 450 for ice fly boots

I just use rentals 🤡 I'm not good so it's not worth spending £200 on some yet, and I know I'll feel so guilty spending that much

I do this sport but not on ice, I do it on 4 wheels and the skate cost me €630

Guys, if you are a beginner, the shapes of skates are different. I’d recommend something like Graf bolero, as even beginner edea skates have a more professional shape. Skate well guys!

I’m wondering if these boots are more expensive in the US? I live in Germany and here you pay 490€ (around 530$) for an Edea Ice Fly, but Edea and Risport are so common here. German skating shops only sell these two brands (and sometimes Graf or Jackson, but just the beginner boots, not the advanced versions).

Skates on all shapes and forms are expensive, when you skate you are with your center of gravity so high any fall can result in a serious injury

You are paying for no mechanical failures unlike a cheap bike or skateboard that can break in any momment.

Skates are so expensive and I am an advanced skater so I need specific ones but they are $600-900 so I usually just go to Facebook market or Depop for used advanced skates and I found some mark 4 blades which are Jackson’s for $300 which is pretty good they come in today so I have to test them..
