TOPAZ ADJUST AI: DEEP DIVE (3 Example Edits)

I miss the old regions slider. What takes the place of it in the new version.

Are textures a part of this software?

The whole Detail section does not work . Even moving the slider by the tiniest bit and the effect is totally overdone . Like a Cartoon . Plus the figures in the box stay on 0.00. Topaz support was so far , was not really helpful . I reinstalled it , but in vain

Just also got Luminar 4.2 with you coupon code and am kind of confused on how you would decide which program to use to enhance an image. Nicely explained video here.

I have Luminar 4 as well, however, I like the layout of all the sliders in Topaz Adjust AI in a logical progression to enhance an image. Luminar has many of the same features, but they are located in different areas of the software, not on just one long slider panel like Topaz Adjust. Nice work, Topaz for setting up this logical Adjust AI menu system. Thank you Dave for showing us how it is done to enhance properly. Really like the mountain scene enhanced. To adjust details in landscape and architecture and enhanced fur texture in animal portraits, I like using Topaz. Luminar I like using for people portraits with those types of features and their many LUT presets are useful.

Can you make the PS layer into a Smart Object before launching the Topaz Sharpen filter so that you can go back into Topaz and make changes to the original edit after you have applied it to PS? Is there any drawbacks to using this approach?
