Pilot Metropolitan Fountain Pen Review

Nice review Larry. I tested the Pilot Metropolitan fine nib against the Lamy Safari fine nib & found the Metro had a feedback equivalent to fingernails on a chalkboard. The Lamy was a bit scratchy, but didn’t have that annoying feedback. Otherwise, it’s a solidly well-made pen for the price. For unknown reasons, I like the Pilot Varsity better than the Metro to write with. In the looks department, the Metro wins two thumbs up.

Good review. I have two Pilot Metros, one with a fine nib and the other with the stub nib. They are both nice writers.

I used to have the gray one but it feel down of my desk and broke 😭
