After the box office and critics success of the first. I’m guessing for the the second movie, Catching Fire, the studio realized how profitable this series could be and poured more money and effort in contrast to the first movie. Hence, better CGI and camerawork etc.
ОтветитьCoin was hoping Peta would kill Katniss.
In the book and movie, it's explained he was tortured and brainwashed to kill her.
And Coin saw Katniss as a political threat to her power.
oh but they do suck
ОтветитьI’m surprised Caleb didn’t include the scene where peeta tried to pull katniss into the black goo to kill her cause with the Roblox oof sound that would’ve been funny asf💀
ОтветитьI liked the first two books but Mockingjay was such a bummer it genuinely ruined the whole series for me. I was just upset while reading it and bored while watching it that I can't look back on the hunger games anymore without feeling a bit of disdain (If I could treat catching fire as a stand alone I would but it builds up to Mockingjay too much to do that)
ОтветитьMOCKINGJAY PART 2 BAD?????? I CHOKED ON MY FOOD
Ответитьhow could anyone hate finnick? 😀
ОтветитьVery straight to the point. Loved it.
ОтветитьI keep watching this video over and over again 😭
ОтветитьI love The Hunger Games series and movies. Suzanne Collins is a great author. The reason why Hunger Games is so different from other dystopian YA franchise is because Collins is knowledgable in war and military. She grew up with stories from her father who served in Vietnam war, who was in Air Force, and who's also a military historian. She captures the scenes, tactic, trauma, down to the growing of fragile hope in a dystopian world so so well. I love the series, including the prequel The Ballad of the Songbirds and Snakes. If that's adapted into movie too, I honestly can't wait to see it.
ОтветитьI always thought coin put peeta in the group in mockingjay part 2 because she was hoping he'd kill Katniss. Also? I liked that he was super unpredictable bc u never knew when he was going to snap..... but I'm also super biased because I love peeta
ОтветитьI’m 3 years late but even though I’m super shaky when filming with big cameras, I can’t believe they didn’t add a warp stabilizer to some of the shots in post-production. I always add a stabilizer of my shots are too shaky and don’t need to be
ОтветитьBRUH! THIS MOVIE DID NOT SUCK AT ALL!!! IT ALSO HAD GREAT REVIEWS!!!
ОтветитьTell us why you hate Finnick, you snake!
Ответитьmy guy said he could feel his hair growing bc it was so good iconic
ОтветитьFor someone that loves these books and movies- you have some bad comprehension skills for them (I understand some of it is for the joke but you just blatantly wrong about what that happen sometimes…
ОтветитьI just watched the movies recently, haven't read the books but I thought the camera work and chi really worked for the first film. It creates the vibe I'd this unfamiliar, scary world that you're in. It set the tone up.
ОтветитьHonestly, hearing Caleb talking about how the district 13 and its people are (like the walls or uniforms), sounds like he didn’t read the books. This is all in it and it has its importance. They’re not all blank and boring for nothing
Nvm, it feels like he didn’t read the books all the video long, even tho he did and wtf ?
If YA Dystopia was a family, The Hunger Games is the oldest golden child, The Maze Runner is the the mediocre and forgettable middle child and the disappointment youngest child is Divergent.
Ответитьi hate to say it but u look like an irl nerd emoji. actually, you ARE a nerd so no surprise there.
ОтветитьEssential viewing ❤😊
ОтветитьI'm not sure why your saying weird that they bring peeta to the capital when they are doing the propos and stuff because that's what happens in the book....
Ответитьbut seriously after that dystopian era of the 2010s is done - only the hunger games held up because of its solid story and message. It's something people will like decades after
ОтветитьMy problem with the first movie is how much they changed and deleted many things from the book that were pretty important.
ОтветитьThe parts that sucked the most for me in the movies are the dresses, like those were really important part in books and literally symbolised the whole revolution. But those dresses sucked. I've seen much better dresses made by underrated artists.
Ответитьthe jacket looks so uncomfortable😂
ОтветитьI almost disliked the video when you said you don't like Finnick, but I have to understand not everyone is into himbos...
ОтветитьI love "Catching fire", I remember the premiere in cinema was the day of my highschool graduation prom, and I went super early with my friends to the movie theater to watch it and we loved it and cried a lot. So many memories AHHAHA
ОтветитьThe end of the final book it's actually so sad I remember like Katnis was suffering a lot, she didn't love Peeta that much and was just like leaving day by day and had to constantly remind Peeta that all of it was real 😢.Cause in the movies she looks so happy and with no problems at all, or at least that what I felt
ОтветитьFor those wondering the hospital was bombed before the hovercraft crashed into it 😂 not sure why the movie couldn’t make that more clearer smh
ОтветитьPeeta was brought along because Coin saw her as a threat and was hoping that he would kill her along the way. Even the characters there thought it was stupid and didn't make sense that he was there and that one guy told her in their private conversation that he believes it's because Coin is trying to kill her off.
ОтветитьI always thought the shaky cam was a nod to the fact that the Hunger Games is an in-world reality tv show
ОтветитьI love the first movie I think the scene where the games actually happen and the sound cuts out is brilliant
ОтветитьI notice you tend to rate a scene based off if there’s action. This isn’t an action movie. At least I don’t like putting it in that category. Sure there are scenes, but some of the most powerful ones don’t require it.
If the whole movie had action, it would be meaningless with out all the scenes that develop the characters with no action.
The blandness of 13 was the whole point of showing a highly structured environment.
To answer your question THE CAPITOL killed those ppl in the hospital. The planes did not crash there.
I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear you say the first part of the hanging tree is stupid. I love how they did that scene. She is back in her home district that doesn’t exist anymore, so of course the first song that pops into her head is the one she used to sing as a little girl.
In this scene we see and feel Katniss POV. We get a sense of hopelessness and disparity, and in the surrounding dead silence of district 12, we get this false sense that nothing is happening when elsewhere this is actually far from the truth. The revolution has already truly begun.
The thing I love about this series is that every move is calculated. If something is happening, it’s happening for a reason. If someone is there, they’re there for a reason. It’s all one big game.
Peeta is there with Katniss when he’s not mentally stable which is suspect like you said, but then we learn that Coin approved of his arrival and that changes everything!
He’s not there to advance a love story, he’s there as Coin’s pawn.
Peeta coming in an out of “sanity” makes him more realistic and relatable to how a real person would react. We’re not going to be crazy one day then perfectly sane the next. He’s going through the healing process.
I wouldn’t say I love Finnick but I’m definitely intrigued.
Heck I would buy a book just on his backstory, that would be so interesting!
Imagine falling in love with someone, then they get picked at the reaping, only to have been traumatized to where they’re “crazy” now, but it doesn’t stop there!
Oh yeah and You have to protect them from all the name calling.
To keep his love alive he had to sell his body to the highest bidder. He gathered information as insurance and as a weapon because he knew without it he’s got nothing to work with. He went through A LOT. They all have.
I'm sorry but that reenactment was everything 😂
Ответитьwhen i watched catching fire for the first time i said "imagine falling" just before that guy fell when running to the Cornucopia.
ОтветитьThe purpose of Prim is what a lot of copy/paste writers miss when writing similar stories. Katniss didn't give a fck about saving the world - she just wanted to save her sister.
Ответитьi love the way you talk so much
Ответить1k views on this video is mine
ОтветитьOh god as your explaining the camera work i....oh boini never even noticed but yea i agree
Ответить
