I will be framing the top section of windows with glass, just have to find it for free first. Right now it's covered with plastic. I will probably do it this summer :)
This lake is manmade for making ice in the late 1800's. The Ice was exported to London to be used in early day refrigerator's. They called it icebox or cold closet. The lake is around 2,5 meters deep. Great for swimming in the summer as it gets warm fast.
