I feel KKR has done a descent job purchasing De Kock beforehand coz they had somewhere understood that with such little amount in their purse they gonna face difficulty in bringing back Salt and were wise in securing De Kock at cheaper price. Had KKR left De Kock and couldn't have got Salt back eventually, they would have landed in a more terrible situation. De Kock in 3.6 Cr is a steal.

Aren’t we forgetting that squad is 12 men for all practical purposes with 8 Indian players.

RCB should just buy Jansen and Sundar. Have Sundar bat in top 3. Jansen's bowling might not work but his batting will be terrific in Chinnaswamy. Then if they have budget left they should RTM Jacks, Ferguson, Akash Deep. Try to get one of Sai Kishore,M Siddharth or Swapnil. Their team will be all set to dominate.

How can you pay 25 crores for a guy like iyer who does nothing with the bat. He cant score against fast bowlers and can't win a match single handedly. Kkr won because of hard hitters like narine gurbaz salt russel etc. Iyer is just abother one of those tuk tuk stat padding anchors like rahul kohli. Except rahul and kohli csn actually score hundreds which iyer cant. And his captaincy is overrated because all plans are made my mentors and support staff. When a bowler will ball against which batsman is pre decided based on match ups
