ОтветитьWOWZERS !!! You could call a dawg with that high pitched note! I didn't think it possible, to play a note on a trumpet, THAT High pitched !!! You could shatter glass with that one, & you have great range & precision & all your notes are lined up centered and are rounded and are spot on ! That's a goal to aim for !
I can still hear that high note, bouncing around between my ears, in all that muddy water.
Mark, I know it's not a big deal, but you're one of the trumpet players that inspired me as a 14 year old when my brother gave me a Future Corps recording of "one more time, Chuck Corea". I didn't know at the time that the trumpet could play such things, and it was a huge inspiration. After that, my high school band played in Chicago at the Midwest Clinic, where you played with the St. Johns River City band. I was pulled aside by one of my band directors to watch a rehearsal of the band, and it further blew my mind on what was possible on the trumpet. I think it was a double B flat at the end of "Limehouse Blues". Anyways, thanks for everything
