Thanks for this look at older sets and their retirement. Some really lovely sets going and I sincerely hope that the spaces they leave, will be filled with really good and satisfying new sets to build. I guess I just hate saying goodbye, 😂 but I do love the excitement and joy of seeing fabulous new sets coming out.

Seeing the Daily Bugle retiring both sucks but gives us hope that possibly we get either a large D2C Baxter Building or Oscorp Industries modular building that could be anywhere from 3.5k pieces to 5k pieces. What's a shock to me that isn't retiring is the Speed Champions Nissan Skyline from 2 Fast 2 Furious since the Technic version was just released so I bought an extra one on the premise that it would retire and I could sell it for a small profit along with some GWPs I've kept boxed since I had 'em unless this isn't the full end of life list yet.

You can add your Orient Express as a retired train in one of your stations or somewhere else!!

It's very smart, but also sad for LEGO to retire some sets that are for example part of bigger collection in Harry Potter like we do not have complete new Diagon Alley or Hogwarts and first parts of them are already retiring - so once you see the final effect you will not able to buy all pieces - creating the FOMO effect like "I'd better buy it even thought I do not know the outcome"

I don't like how do many sets I want are going, wish lego was more affordable....I missed some I really wanted last December... I better get the rest of my tax returns soon lol

Prolly the most positive thing about that Pharrell movie Lego set is that it includes a whole bunch of minifigure heads in various skintones. People can use those heads for their minifigures.

kind of a dumb thought... but what if you ordered the pieces from a particular lego set using the back few pages on the instruction booklet of the set you want to build and then build it? LEGO still has PDF instructions of old and retired sets readily available on their website for viewing and download

A water park would be great for the beach! There have been several Friends themed water parks but I think a pirate themed water park would be great for the city.

You could make the Viking Village like a Education Museum with a School Group visiting.
