What is striking is how things remain “complicated” despite the shift in political populism, free speech philosophies and the weight of government as a leviathan that has, like the coming AI debate, ‘conciousness’ on it’s own. The Vice-President of the United States, 1st in line to the Presidency, is a brown-skinned woman of Indian descent.
The Minority Leader in the United States House of Representatives, 2nd in line to the Presidency, is a black man.
The United States Secretary of Defense is a black man.
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States armed forces is a black man.
The United States Ambassador to the United Nations is a black woman.
The head of the EPA... the Director of the OMB... These, too, are offices held in the US government by black people... But you want to talk about racial inequality?

I’ve always hated this interviewer. He had an interview with Sowell where he also asked many short, unenthusiastic, & shallow questions.

So cool that Glenn has been on both sides of the right / left dividing line MULTIPLE TIMES each in his career. It speaks well of folks that they can evolve and evaluate themselves as well as arguments of those who disagree with them an moce accordingly. Appreciate this look back at early 2000's Glenn.
