Love the enthusiasm and review, but the star scope is a scam.

It's garbage.

I bought one of these on a local market, paid £10. I suppose it's just about worth the money for terrestrial use, but I've bought binoculars from local charity shops and usually pay no more than £5 for them; and there all a damn sight better than this piece of tut.

It's all fine and good but I still can't get over David Cassidy passing away like that. One minute he's there and the next, he's dead! How does Cosmic Scope fix that...huh?

Why not make it smaller? That is very large, and heavy, you could make it out of titanium, and have smaller, thicker lenses, you could use a clamp to attach it, and you could use a micro dc motor to change the focus. You could also have extension options, so you can actually film the moon!

Bluetooth, night vision, and IR could be options.

If the video is to believed this lens has longer focal length and better clarity than a 16 inch dobsonian telescope.

I brought one of these for $25.00 from Banggood about 6 months ago. The magnification is around 6X. I have a set of Minolta binoculars that are 7X this is less than that. Basically, they are nothing but a bloody con.

My wife purchases 2 of these for Christmas gifts, she spent around $100, they are complete junk. Not even worthy of the Dollar store junk.
One of them has loose parts inside and won't focus. Too bad she didn't buy them from Amazon or they would have been returned.

If you want to connect to a mobile phone you have to purchase the accessories. Yet the advertisement didn't say that.
The over all quality is low.
