Scariest thing at our yard sales is this old loudmouth guy who always shows up and blabs at full blast for an hour while we're trying to do stuff.

Always ask 5x what you want to get. The people that go to yard sales are cheapskates and love to bargain because they come from 3rd world countries and they don't have a concept of Western sale techniques at all.

I am well versed in the second hand -sale realm, estate/garage/tag/yard/whatever you want to call it they're the same thing just depends on where on the property it is. My old man's been doing it for like 40 years and I used to go along a lot as a kid and teen. So anyway that first story would have been a hard pass just based on the signage, but people often are lazy and leave up their signs weeks after the sale has ended so that's also of consideration. It doesn't sound like they put dates on that haggard excuse of a sign though.

Story 2: those are the kinda deals I'm talking about, not necessarily designer clothes though. That lady needs to chill, you don't haggle when the prices are that low unless you're a scumbag. And you certainly don't come back with muscle to try and intimidate the seller, like what? She probably lied to the husband and got him riled up, then he realized what actually was going on and he was like we gotta go.

Story 3: This is the opposite of my last point, high and hard prices. Video games are my jam with tag sales, it's so much harder to catch a deal on them these days compared to years ago. I guarantee you most of those ps4 and xbox games probably retail on the used market for well under $10, OP sounds like a mainstream kinda guy that doesn't have rare games. Most likely CoD and Madden at minimum.

Story 4: Creepy. I'm honestly surprised my dad hasn't brought something home with him that had a spirit attached to it yet. To my knowledge anyway.

Story 5: I had a similar thing happen with a musical xmas ornament snowglobe one time at my parents house. It was just going on it's own, nobody turned it on. It was just myself & mom there that day, I thought she turned it on. She asked me why the ornament was on and if I had done it, clearly neither one of us did it. I checked the switch and it was rock solid, that shit was not turning on by itself. It took considerable effort to turn it off manually, it was one of those 3 stage ones with a left right and center position. There's been a few other really little things in that house over the past decade, it's probably because of my Grandma's ashes I would guess. There was never any activity before she passed. The snowglobe was def the most wtf of the bunch, she and my mom bonded over that stuff.

story 3 - good for OP to scare off that lady all because of the PS4 she wanted to buy!

That first story was so weak. Nothing happened. It was about as exciting as someone talking about eating a bowl of cereal. Who ever you got that story from should never relate any tales ever. 😂
