Between your voice and your knowledge, and your acting background you are literally the most perfect historic narrator! Honesty I would rather listen to a presentation by you than Lucy Worsley or Mary Beard and I love both of them! I especially love how at times you will add in your comments about politics! Mary Beard does the same thing when she's speaking at Universities! I do hope you are able to continue these indulgent presentations!
ОтветитьThank you my dear!
ОтветитьGreetings from Brazil🌺
ОтветитьYou're so animated in this video.❤ 🐶💜💙🩵💚💛🧡❤️
ОтветитьYou surpassed yourself with Hekarte everything since is just gravy. Brava.
ОтветитьFascinating. Thanks for this! 👍
ОтветитьNyx 🖤
ОтветитьI would love a video with your research and opinions around misogyny and the demonization of women in mythology and folklore.
ОтветитьWait, there's actually a god of criticism? That's ridiculous.
ОтветитьCurious because Hekate seems to have a few discrepancies on her parentage. Asteria and Perses for one, but Nyx another. Also, Hekate is called the Goddess of night as well.
ОтветитьMore videos on the oceanids would be nice to see 🪼🩵
ОтветитьI looovvvve your videos 😭 please also do the other deity’s I hope Aphrodite is next🩷
ОтветитьExcited for spooky season videos!
ОтветитьShe wasn’t a minor character. The reason much isn’t written about her is because she’s so primordial the writer assumed the reader already knew her qualities.
ОтветитьLove your channel. Maybe something about Tantalus. My last name is Tantaal so im bit biased and its a scary story so maybe would match the creepy vibe also his children had bad times to :)
ОтветитьDisturbed the Night this song literally describe her 😎
ОтветитьI love your videos, maybe you could talk about Ereshkigal once. Or the Aztec goddess whose name means Obsidian Butterfly. I can't recall the spelling, sorry.
ОтветитьI've just discovered you. The story of Hecate was the first thing I watched. I admire your intelligence and storytelling ability. I love learning. I used to love and collect books. Unfortunately along with my chronic illnesses has come a decline in cognitive functioning. The 17 years of severe fibromyalgia has taken a huge toll. Now Im also diagnosed with ADHD and on medication for dementia. The books mostly stay on the shelves now. Videos are so helpful in my quest for continuing knowlede. Thank you so very much. I really appreciate it.
ОтветитьGreetings Library Lady!
I would like to suggest that you take a look at the story of the 50 daughters of Danaus.
These 50 princesses are without a doubt the most tragic heroines of Greek mythology in my opinion.
They are the only mortal women to be punished in Tartarus, even though it is held in various versions that their “”crimes”” were purified by Hermes and Athena.
Aside from that, their story raises a very interesting idea of how immigrants were treated in ancient times.
I am curious about your perspective on this.
Aphrodite and Eros being those cutesy love gods who are conflated with Eldritch entities of chaos is so meaningful I love it.
ОтветитьWe have just adopted a black cat and named her Nyx, Goddess of the night and daughter of Chaos.
ОтветитьI am, or consider myself, a modern Orphic, and I honor Nyx as one of the architects of the universe and the predecessors of Zeus.
ОтветитьNYX! ma Lady ✨🖤🌙🖤✨
Ответитьin one of my lowest times Nyx was the one to reach out to me and i have been praising her since, thank you for this video! its hard to find things about her <3
Ответить🌹 thanks for sharing.
Ответитьthank you for sharing your valuable work!
ОтветитьU are such a charming person like I could listen to u talk about whatever I would just sit there and listen. I love to watch and listen to people talking about something that fills them with happines. Thank you for your viedo was amazing. 💜💜💜🗝🕊
ОтветитьNyx is a Primordial
ОтветитьCommenting for the algorithm ^_^
ОтветитьCan you please tell me about Artemis and Selene?
ОтветитьI actually got the most appropriate advertisement on this video. Good job, YT.
ОтветитьΤέλειο 😊
ОтветитьNo mention of Cytherea of Cyprus mythology also associated with aka Aphrodite, goddess of beauty and love.
ОтветитьI've a XL Bully and Pit Bull Dog mix breed puppy who is majority black with a merle chest and feet flashes of color that I now foster the past few months. She came to me at five months old last December, rejected as a X-mas gift 🎁. Her name was Raven upon her arrival, but that's to obvious, generic, and unoriginal for a black dog who is unsure, afraid, and confused about her unstable beginning and start to her life experiences. I have renamed her NYX so to fit in with my pack. I've a two year old male red nose apbt with bird of prey amber eyes, Raucous Chronos, a one year old female red nose apbt, Drusilla also has the yellow eyes, and a white with blue pie spots( slatey grey in color) and beautiful blue-grey eyes named Saoirse, Galic name for beautiful or freedom depending on sources. I liked your video content about NYX ,goddess of the night, one of the primordial gods.

ОтветитьI like to think that the goddess Nyx and The goddess of day, Hemera, weren't OFTEN together, but they did see eachother. The explosion of color each morning and evening is them coming back to one another, the love that they share for one another is in that expression, and eternal demonstration of the joy of love of a mother and her child. Almost as if it's Nyx giving Hemera a kiss on her way to her work, to bring forth the day, and her mother receiving her in her arms at the end of the day, in celebration of another successful pass of the baton.
