I got caught for posession once. And i got off with that as well , no wonder he talked himself into a charge , you have a right to no reply , going off course and telling them about all the other stuff no doubt helped charge him , if the complainant admitted that he lied and made it up , the case should of collapsed the judge can order a not guilty , waste of taxpayers money to continue the trial

I like Tony, but he sounds a bit jaded and old here. A lot of those clubs in the 90s were magical, it's not just nostalgia or myth. And so many outdoor free parties, like Exodus in Luton, were also truly magical.

I first went to Ibiza in 1968 aged 5 , then when I was 17 in 1979. All thru the 80’s & sailed to Ibiza from the U.K. in 1999, lived there on my sailboat until 2007. I’ve seen Ibiza change over the years. Ibiza is a lot more corporate & expensive now (2025)I remember Fat Tony over the years mainly from London. He’s definitely been around

Really great podcast, but Tony’s always a great interviewee. I’m glad he didn’t tell the ‘pliers/teeth’ story as it makes me feel ill, but he’s always a brilliant guest.

Great interview. Tony's views on Qatar/Dubai etc. are so spot on and it's no doubt cost him. The Beckhams etc. want to have it both ways, but he sees them for what they are.
