How to clone a cannabis plant. Fast and easy!

I've never used an aero cloner, usually Rapid Rooters with Clonex rooting gel. I'll see roots coming through the Rooters within 10 days. Several days quicker than above.
Maybe some varieties just take longer..?! 2 weeks to get good roots seems longer than Rooters..?!
I use a humidity dome, though. Maybe this speeds up rooting..?! I use to see them on Aerocloners. It seems like in a dry area, like Colorado (20% humidity, or less), that a dome would be required..?!
Is there a certain humidity level where humidity domes are required..?! I've lived in much higher humidity, and if using Rooters with no dome, they'll wilt pretty quickly..?!
And I haven't seen a dome on an Aerocloner in over 10 years. Are they not used anymore on them..?!

Gotta say, thanks for the video. A tip I have. Cut the fan leaves at about half. Ypu don't need that much photosynthesis. In fact, the plant will thank you with less yellowing. Less leaves equals less stress for the process.

Aloë vera sap has root hormone. Dip the end of your clone on a fresh wound of the Aloë vera plant. Cheap and effective.

Yo, your camera shots are terrible. I'm a first-time cloner I need to see pictures there's a reason your videotaping it instead of audio taping it is to show us but almost all the important shots either there's leaves in the way or it's right out of the shot of camera seriously man don't you have an editing team that can spot that this video is frustrating to me.

Thanks for the clip. I was looking at various methods and your tutorial is SUPER explanatory. The only thing I would say is that I have city water and use it without problems. The trick is, to allow the chlorine or chloramide gasses to evaporate over a couple of days before using the water. I have several 5 gallon buckets that I use to do this.

Hmmmm. I use microbial mass pro on hydro, and have full roots after 5 days and no yellowing at all. Been growing 20 years. I put 6 to 8 mini incisions at the bottom of the clone to help roots go wild.

for those wanting to use city water instead: just let the water sit for 24hrs and all the chlorine will have been evaporated

How big does my plant need to be to clone? I have one plant wedding crashers number 3. It's six inches and has 8 leaves maybe 4 stems off the main. And will I burn it out if I use fertilizer if I'm already watering with fertilized fish tank water? Easygreen... haha

I like to keep things simple. NO alcohol, no gloves, no rooting hormone, just plain bottled water. I just cut through a node, scrape off the outer 'skin' a bit to expose the cambium layer and plop it into a bottle of water. I get roots within a week or two. 80-90% success rate.

But If I was going to do several dozen or even a hundred, I would use new shoots of a willow tree soaked in water for a week to make my own rooting hormone and probably sanitize IF I was taking cuttings from multiple plants.

Heck, I have even taken cuttings in flower with really good success rates. The most important thing to remember is not to put them in bright light until they have developed roots. I use a 40-watt table lamp. Try to keep them in a humid environment to slow transpiration... you don't want them to try to grow...just root.

I have prepared myself for the day it becomes legal in my state i will never do it unless its legal and its one of my greatest wishes to have my state legalize it but i dont do anything illegal so i will be waiting a long time it looks like

Can I use h20 to clean the tool first? And can I just use hot water? Bcs I see that hot water does well for any plant tht use cutting method btw I don’t have clonex can I just use aloe vera?

Clonex and EZ clone websites say to cut below the node, not above like you did

Man I feel like a hillbilly here. But this is exactly like propagating most plants. I'm new to cannabis but normally in the other plant world we just cut it at the node, and drop it in with some pothos cuttings. They generate their own rooting hormone, in an old case and your good to go.

The first time I tried . I cut my clone off the mother plant dipped it in cloning powder , made a hole with a pencil and it was rooted in about two weeks or less and it never wilted

I use dollar store pool noodles and a sterilite tote with air stones 🤷 I'm in it a total of $20 but can be done cheaper with old cooler or tote. Once I see roots form I add lite nutes like 2.5 ml a gallon of npk,macro, Micros etc then they stay green 🎉🎉
