Real Thanks for this vdo.
ОтветитьPurpose of Upanishads is not to make readers theist. According to Max Müller the key note of Upanishad is “know thyself”, but with more stress on detailing of the same than that of “Delphic Maxims”.
Hence, refrain from spreading half baked information on Upanishads and Hinduism.
Upanishads are like appendix not from Vedas.
Upanishad talked about Buddhist king ajatha Chatru.😊
It is incorrect to say that Atman reincarnates; it is Jiva, the individual self which does so. There is only one Atman, not one for every person: realising this and living this is Enlightenment, liberation. it is the omnipresent Self as eternal consciousness, which is and has always been perfect. It is not a philosophy, but a direct experience of formlessness.
Ответитьvery well summarized. excellent introduction to upanishads
ОтветитьThree years later and I just listened to this lecture. I have read and re-read the Upanishads and the Gita with great enthusiasm and joy and now I’ve learned even more from you. Thank you
ОтветитьGreat
ОтветитьThanks for a gist plan to read them now ... will read infact
Ответитьbut what we most practice is rituals on industrial scale instead of understanding the facts.
ОтветитьNeed to smoke weed to understand this….way above my head
ОтветитьThis is why probably, in India everyone have a responsibility to deliver to “Rishi Runam”
Ответить..... Nirvana.......
No reincarnation,
No birth,
No soul.
I love Upanishads,it's life itself.
Everybody can walk through the world and leave it but nobody can walk through Upanishads cause it stays forever, that's what stays when we choose to leaving the Earth forever.❤
❤❤
ОтветитьI think Krishna is the chosen devata of the Hindus, I don't think Brahman appears in only one form, as GOD, he can appear in any form dear to your heart (Ramakrishna), it would be a mistake to suggest GOD in the form of Krishna is the one and only form of the formless Brahman...IMO.
ОтветитьRead Yog Vashisth. You will get full clarity. Actually there are no distinction. Actually the problem is of interpretation of any scriptures western or eastern. We say what we interpret. One should learn through self enquiry and not through books. You will then get all the answers directly
ОтветитьI don't understand the people of India considering themselves Hindus without having read the Upanishads; it is like people calling themselves Christians without reading the bible and there are many such people. They understand nothing.
ОтветитьIn LEARNING ang COMPREHENDING the NATURE of GOD'S ONENESS and HIS MANIFESTATIONS humanity now at a crossroads of GOD'S PROGRESSIVE REVELATIONS, HIS FULFILLMENT OF ALL THE HOLY SCRIPTURES now translates to "THE GLORY OF GOD". A SINCERE TRUTH SEEKER would INVESTIGATE the BAHA'I FAITH and learn that GLORIOUS NAME.
ОтветитьIn other words . Energy cant be created nor destroyed it changes from one form to another.
ОтветитьAncient civilizations must have great philosophies and many are destoyed due to invasion.
ОтветитьNice!
ОтветитьUpanishads are nothing but the copy of Buddhas teachings.
ОтветитьMany statements...but where s the insight & the guiding? The Chanel needs a Guru...walking & realizing take time...this is the Truth. A Day in the Life of a Hindu lists 6 hours of work & many hours of study. No driving around or endless computer work.
ОтветитьChristian - Yahweh created this world by his power.
Hindu - Is this power a quality or a substance?
Christian – Quality
Hindu – But quality cannot build things. Like the quality of fire is light. So how can light create fire?
Christian - Using a lens with sunlight will create fire.
Hindu - But you are using a lens with light. This means that God must have had another thing to create the world just as light creates fire with a lens. Vedas says - God, spirit and matter have always existed.
Namaskaarah ji
You have made the essence of Upanishad so simple
I read the Upanishads every night before I sleep.
ОтветитьNice summary
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
A beautiful clear introduction to an ignorant but curious person like me. Thank you!
ОтветитьSuch profound knowledge! Thank you! 🙏🤍🙏
ОтветитьIs atman technically a soul? It says it means self but I always thought it meant soul.
ОтветитьThank you for this nice presentation

ОтветитьMany many many thanks for sharing,
ОтветитьDo not mix physical Krishna and eternal Krishna. Know the difference. When you reach a certain level in yog shakti you can have multiple bodies & forms, rising to One and the only. Just like a corporate ladder until you become CEO but still working and can be present at all levels simultaneously.
ОтветитьThe Truth is glimpsed through the Paradoxes.
The Upanishads is the G.O.A.T. Of holy texts.
Thx for the clear and concise explanation. Most helpful
ОтветитьCan anyone help me to understand the essay The principal of Upanisads by S. Radhakrishnan??
ОтветитьSome Muslims study the Upanishads to understand Hinduism as a monistic religion, links to the Advaita Vedanta school of Hinduism.
ОтветитьSomething these people omit usually
Taittiriya Samhita (6.5.10.3)
Verse:
"The birth of a daughter is considered undesirable."
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (1.4.1-3)
Verse:
"In the beginning, only men were created. Women and Shudras were later born to fulfill secondary roles."
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (3.9.28): The Eternal Superiority of Brahmins
Verse:
"Verily, the Brahmin is the most excellent among all beings. Whatever exists here, all that is dominated by the Brahmin."
Chandogya Upanishad (5.10.7): The Importance of Caste Purity
Verse:
"He who is born of a Brahmin father and a Kshatriya mother is considered inferior to a true Brahmin."
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (6.2.6): Creation of the Four Castes
Verse:
"Prajapati created Brahmins for wisdom, Kshatriyas for strength, Vaishyas for wealth, and Shudras for servitude."
Chandogya Upanishad (8.1.1): Women and Knowledge
Verse:
"Only men are considered fit to study Brahmavidya (the knowledge of Brahman)."
Keep following these. It's absurd that this idealogy is a thing in modern world.
Unfortunately You have mixed up the Personal-GOD in GITA (which is similar to Abrahamic Religions) with the Impersonal-Brahman in UPANISHADS (which is Unique and Scientific) 🔆
ОтветитьMuch appreciated 🕯️🙏🕯️
ОтветитьThank you, ❤👌👌👌👌👌
ОтветитьI checked out of this video as soon as you pronounced solace wrong 😂😂
