Looks awesome, I love low budget open world games. I checked out their developer page, and they have another game set to come out this year called Sea Dogs: To Each His Own. Looks interesting. Looks like it has the pirate/new world theme of Risen, but mixed with ship combat and exploration.

No voice acting? Hell yea!

The best RPG ever is called Morrowind. No voice acting was used.

yes graphics look dated, but look what current games state are. shiny graphics with very shallow gameplay and fake "choices". i really hate this trend because they require more resources from your pc, but the games themselves are just plain boring. this one looks very in depth and promising, cant wait to try it!

The main thing that puts me off about this game is the lack of voice acting, everything else is pretty much what I'm fine with when it comes to Gothic like rpgs. Even some ruff around the edges voice acting would be acceptable over no voice acting at all. Giving a chance to up and coming voice actors for a reasonable sum of money would be a great way to fix this problem.

I do like when a small team of Indy devs managed to make something thigth and interesting, even if the overall quality is not AAA, as long that the world is intruiging enough for me to want to explore it, and the Builds/skills available is large enough for multiple gameplay styles, thats truely all that matters.

Skyrim with 1.3k+ mods cant look as good as this

That would be very cool if they could hire voice actors and add tons more dialog so you could type what you want to say and the NPC could pick a response depending on what you said. I think that would be very nice I would believe Microsoft could use google to come up with tons of dialog choices.

Gah, more staff on the back. Every RPG I ever played. Staves do not go on your back. When did you EVER see a person carrying a staff on their back? And of course there's never any straps or any indication it isn't held on by anything except magnetism. It looks awful. And it's not just this game it's every and any RPG. People carry staves in their HANDS. You kind of walk with it, with the staff taking up one hand. Does this break the game? Nope. Can the character still interact with objects? Yep. Still has a hand. JUST HAVE THEM CARRY IT WITH THE HAND. STOP IT.

Sorry to say this, but it looks extremely incomplete and generic. If the 2 developers wanted to do the game justice they would've scaled it down and focused on giving it its own identity

yeah i hate reading in games as well. And keep in mind stories via reading can be boring because many times ppl cant relate to whatever is happening due to points of view on things. So in this case for some ppl reading can become a true chore.

Great video! The game also looks nice. The NPCs are from the "Modular Medieval NPC" pack from the Unreal Marketplace. I'm using these too in my game. :(

when it comes to gothic i hope alot of games adapt the world changes per chapter mechanic that gothic had

I highly recommend “Citadel: Forged With Fire” if you haven’t played it already. It’s a little grindy at first but it is awesome once you start doin dungeons at the higher levels.

Curious how much it will be and how much content and features will be in it. I would like to support a project like this. It would be nice to have more info on this. As it releases quite soon I guess well have answers shortly.

FYI one if the developers has said that if the launch goes well he would like to add voice acting.

Looks promising. I used to be "sensitive" when it comes to graphics. But outward proved me wrong. I damn enjoyed that game and I look forward to this game

Can you please tell me how to use spells because when the skill is green and I Press Keys with numbers nothing happens.

Make the devs to the voice overs instead of paying people to do it. Already got paid people who can do it. ! person can make multiple voices. Elder scroll games know this lmao. but games without voice acting are terrible in my opinion. Literally use your devs if you cant afford professionals or in these days in time also got AI voices.
