The coral stick looks like the kind of thing that would be nice in a machined aluminum housing. I know that's not your thing, but maybe once you make the stick, if it's popular enough maybe somebody will make housings. Or, can you buy metal cases like they'd use for usb m2 drive adapters in bulk, and use those? I'm assuming if it can draw 3 amps it might get toasty. (Does it need an auxiliary power input? Or just some huge capacitors?)
