I always said this game is going to be hard ik Liverpool are better but this Chelsea is different from last year

For once he talks sensible, i get the need for hyperbole and baiting pre match, but he has earned my respect for being a little humble today.

We are not title contenders this year, but we are probably 2/3 players off being able to win the league. This year was for every Chelsea fan i know about achieving top 4 and i think we are in with a strong shout, we are significantly better than last year, we have a style, as system, the players understand it and they will improve as the year goes on. Lets not forget we are the youngest team in the league (by a margin), there is plenty to love about what Maresca has done so far, its exciting to watch us again.

honestly i think that first half tells me that ultimately Liverpool wont win the league. when Chelsea had the lavia in the midfield who's press resistant we passed through them like butter. a team with further in their development easily win that in the first half. slot didn't intentionally as you don't let teams get through the midfield like that. in the second half when Lavia, James had to be removed for fitness we couldn't get at them. overall Liverpool deserved it for the last 40 mins

Palmer was lost. Sancho not shooting still annoys me and that Penalty wasn't a Penalty because Cowill got the ball. And Madueke is just annoying. I think Madueke could've done more in this game. I dont see him at the club with Estavao and Kendry coming.

I think Slot is a touchline genuis who adjusts his game plan as the game progresses. He reserves his team's energy for when they need it the most I mean how long was it from the time Chelsea equalized to when Liverpool led again, from that point I kinda knew the game was done and dusted. There so many gears Liverpool can get to but they won't if they don't need to, Klopp ran out of energy and so was his team as we saw them drop off from 1st place to 3rd as the season was ending.

Sanchez was shite, usually shite tbh. He can makes some great saves but every week he gifts other teams with a poor pass or a mistake that costs us.

Football is not all about physicality. A team needs balance. Lavia and Caicedo are too similar. Enzo brings that balance in the midfield. None of caicedo or Lavia can manage a midfield tempo or execute the quality of passes that Enzo can
