ОтветитьJason sir, your singing adds life to chords.. period!!! Am so thankful to have found you here.. was never blessed to have any piano teacher in my life. I am late, but lucky!
ОтветитьWow! Thank you, that’s great! You just explained half of modern rock/pop music in a nutshell!
ОтветитьGreat value add as always in your videos.. One doubt Jason.. Indian composers in the 70s-80s like Ilayaraja and for that matter even Rahman, seem to have started working on a tune and then write chords based on the same. Since many of the songs use some kind of a raga, i believe Ilayaraja was truly an exception who brought a tremendous amount of western influences on Indian music like Chromaticism, arpeggios, counterpoint and many more.. I wonder if today's music directors even think about such stuff. I believe most of the Indian composers just use these chord progressions and layer the song with a tonne of effect using software.. Is that true or do you still find unique novel music??
ОтветитьExcellent! Thank you.
