Ok. I want him because I like him and what we had when it started. It started good but ended too fast because of assumed expectations and communication problems. He took my enthusiasm as assuming we were a couple, so he ran away and I freaked out because I wanted to keep what we were having in a let it flow way and I chased and confronted him.
So we broke up 2 times. The 3rd we got together he was emotionally out.
I made a lot of mistakes!! I chased, I told him I was into him, I was too confrontational. The guy ran away. He started dating, he's putting himself out there, meeting girls. Now I miss him and the good days.
But I was too needy and psychotic. I don't think he'll ever see me as high value. And I don't have a social life. I'm at that age when making friends and meeting like minded people is a fantasy.
How could I make him FOMO?

My ex is dealing with depression and drinking . Broke it off to fix herself . Wouldn’t tell me what she was feeling or thinking . Still drinking , in therapy .

For me it was just Right People Wrong Time & no amount of improvement was gonna change my mind. I was getting the shorter value in the "Exchange" & she was never gonna be able to match and definitely not excide my value. So I ended it & moved on. There's no amount of No contact (which apparently she has me in) was gonna change my mind. To be fair she had "circumstances" preventing what she could do, & she never saw to it to alleviate them. I see the logic. And maybe there's a difference between the genders. But as a guy, having a woman beg is not a turn off at all, it feels good that they are trying to save the relationship or whatever. Maybe it looks worse for a guy to beg? Or maybe it's just down to the individuals and how much you love eachother

My ex contacted me 2 and 1/2 weeks during no contact. She said that I've been on her mind lately and that she hopes I'm doing well. I waited a day and a half and texted her back saying thank you. I'm doing good and I hope you are too. She said she's doing well and that she's sorry for ending it the way she did and that she just had to get her head straight and let go of me completely for a little bit. She wants to be friends now. Coach, i went into no contact right after the break up and i used to reply to her texts and calls, thinking that she might wanna come back to me. But she was just talking to me and it didn’t seem to go anywhere. The bottom line was the same- breakup. So I have very high value to offer and it’s not expensive for a person who is mature and rich emotionally. Unfortunately avoidant scared hurt men feel like it’s cutting off their arms and legs to get a great amazing loving relationship. Yeah so no I wouldn’t do that either for love or a cup of coffee. Basically another way of saying it is this type of man is broke and can’t afford a cup of coffee, let alone me.

I pleaded and bargained. I go back and forth on whether I regret it. Both my dad and my therapist told me not to feel guilty about sharing my emotions. One of the big problems in the relationship was lack of emotional vulnerability on my end. When I moved out of our apartment, I had reeled in my emotional panic started to build up my confidence again.
