ОтветитьHey man just wanted to say love your videos.
Just had a question. During the finishing process do you caulk the edges/joints before painting Thanks!
I don't know which is better your framing or editing . Great job
ОтветитьWhat type of material is the trim ?
ОтветитьCan I ask how you price a job like this? I've been asked to do a ceiling and I'm not sure whether to quote by the project, linear foot or square footage of the room.
Ответитьbest carpenter video eva
ОтветитьSolid content man! Also… thanks for including measurements. The edits and humor make the videos flow seamlessly. Keep up the good work bro
ОтветитьHow you dont have more SUBs behooves me!
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the application that you are working with?

ОтветитьSkilled, period! Having a sense of humor and been able to deliver such a high-quality workmanship is at a different level. Thank you
ОтветитьYou are a beast!!!
How could you possibly have time to edit these videos like you do and build this amazing stuff. Great job dude
Jared, Funny Guy,
Serious question: but I’ll keep it light.
I notice coffered ceilings are not usually framed out in the perimeter, rather the Coffer beams Just end into the wall With no coffer beams being built on the perimeter. And esthetic reasons or benefits of one style over the other.
I’m owner building my home. Should the coffered ceilings be built before or after the drywall?
ОтветитьThat really turned out beautifully, thanks for posting this. Love your content, always fun and entertaining.
ОтветитьAmazing work, but even more amazing editing skills! Wow, your nailing choreographed to the music and the cats licking the ceiling/glass floor was so entertaining! You've got some mad skills - thanks for sharing with us mere mortals! ;-) Oh, and by the way, your coffered ceiling was beautiful - lucky home owner! Kudos from the gulf coast!
ОтветитьI stumbled on your site today. I super entertained. Looks like you love what you do. When you were cutting the outside pieces of mdf, are you measuring Long point to Long point each time?
As a fan of log homes and wood, would it be hard to make a coffered ceilings with just raw wood? Would it be a PITA to fill in the holes?
I liked just the 2x8 on there. To me it was raw AF. But I get that white or other painted ceilings are more modern to the masses.
Thank you for putting this out. I enjoyed it.
Great display of craftsmanship. Can I ask how you set the reveal on the 1x8 mdf pieces without having any blocking internally to set the depth? Is there a trick or just experience?
ОтветитьHEY JARED, GREAT VIDS! Where do you get your MDF 16' with 4 square corners/edges? All I can find is 2 square and 2 eased edges. I need 4 square like you use.
ОтветитьThis is awesome. Thank you for sharing. Did you use MDF board?
ОтветитьI have an odd double L with alcove ceiling. I wish I knew how to layout. I built a template out of cardboard. The off shoots of the ceiling would end up with squares not the same dimensions as the main squares. Hard.
Mr. Turner I need superman or Merlin for the layout help! Lol
Also, the ends of the ribs at the wall, sometimes they just point into the wall at the end of the rib. Sometimes the room has ribs all around the ceiling where the ceiling meets the wall. This outer frame can see full width frame and sometimes that is half width.
PS. Why do my tape measure cuts don’t turn out like yours lol. I can be plus or minus 1/8”Well, sometimes even more ((embarrassed))
Existing 6inch can lights. Re-use or too 1980’s and use newer style 3” lights. Some people put these in the ribs rather than the center of the squares? What if the can light in the middle of one of the squares ends up where a ceiling joist /roof truss is?
ОтветитьOk funny part : “ Not that hard you can do it”. Oh man I would love to see a DIY’er do that! Now not getting ahead of myself here some good at a vision and hv mastery over a tape measure and understanding crown ok? But the guy who say is a ? Whatever and just bought a miter saw?
Heck I been a finish contractor 14 yrs and I just discovered the miter saw lays over?
Nice work BRO!! Best carpenters are always a bit nutty!! All good , too old to change anyways!! Lol Peace brother
ОтветитьDumb question. What kind of a nail gun and nails should I buy for the trim work. I already have the pine mounted, I just need to start installing the mdf sides.
ОтветитьThat was kickass
ОтветитьContent, always jams JT, but I must say this one in particular is some of the best editing I've seen. Just think about how much content we missed that was floating around up there in that cabasa before this channel. Oh well, we're here now.
ОтветитьWill this work on an 8 foot ceiling?
ОтветитьWould you be able to a detailed slow video on how to cut crown moulding for different joint types and how to do the measurements
ОтветитьOmg, this is treasure. I really hope you can keep it up and post more videos in this trade. btw, do you remember what is the ceiling height of this one?
ОтветитьCould you come and do my ceiling bro
ОтветитьSoooo hilarious but so informative!!!♥️♥️♥️
ОтветитьPlus…how on earth do you get those nail gun hits and music to match????.?.?♥️♥️♥️
ОтветитьAmazing job 👏👏 did you have to caulk anywhere around it?
ОтветитьYou’re brilliant!
ОтветитьYou made that very intertaining and awesome ceiling! Been wanting to try this for a minute
Ответитьwhere do you get the mask?
ОтветитьHey I want to ask you the Crown moldi that you used what place did you get it from like home ? Depot lowe's and how many feet is the each 8 pieces that you had. And is it wood or pvc because i've seen it kind of flexing.
ОтветитьWouldn't screws be better than nails for 2x8
ОтветитьAmazing! Do you remember the size of this room in square footage?
ОтветитьExcellent content. Have a question regarding the lumber. Can we use the regular lumber instead of the pressure treated lumber as it is lighter than the pressure treated 2x8? Thank you very much.
ОтветитьIm bout to do a coffered this week...already started it....question....Why MDF over pre primed 1x? just wondering if I should be using MDF? honestly I try to stay away from it but more and more im seeing it in high end stuff from high end carpenters. Let me know your thoughts on it. much appreciated.
ОтветитьI need stop watching….I’m starting to talk myself into actually attempting this…..which is insanity
Ответить
