Scotia ATM - How to make a deposit

Tried to deposit cash, it spit out the entire amount! Useless. All the billion$ in profits and they skimp out because they don't want to pay for envelopes or someone to check the envelopes . Easier for people to defraud the bank by depositing an empty envelope but harder to deposit and easier for the bank to defraud people without envelopes. At least I COULD make a deposit. Now I have to make an extra 1.5hr drive to go in during banking hours.

I don't like this. Too many ways cash can be mise counted or simply lost.

In Truro NS the ABM's are only available during banking hours. If you need an ABM, you can either join the line of 43 vehicles for the drive-thru or drive 50-70 km to a branch that is in the 21st century. There are 4 choices, only one of those in the same county.
I was born here and can inform you that this is not surprising.

Can you put up a video to teach us how to make your machines count the bills properly? We live in a world with self driving cars & facial recognition tech & your machines can't even handle counting a handful of diff sheets of plastic half the time. 🙄

Have you tried depositing cash in a Scotia ATM? It keeps rejecting perfect bills, and you will have to keep refeeding them until the ATM finally accepts them. SO stupid. But that should not be surprising for a bank like Scotia. Customer service is the least of their worries.
