Greg, you may to give some thoughts on your presentation about "why" the pi network was/is used instead of say, the link coupling, the L network, the T network, the pi-L network or multiple other ways of coupling. All of which could be used just as well and perhaps are some are even more simple. Although the way you explained the voltage divider concept is correct, few designers or experimenters look at the output coupling in this way. Most are concerned with impedance transformation and the associated range, bandwidth and filtering. Perhaps look at the very wide range of impedances that a pi will allow and the respective harmonic attenuation and such. Also, as drawn, the full DC of the final would be across your load; dangerous and likely to damage load.
