This is a completely dishonest mis-characterisation of Ben Davidson and his work.

Ben Davidson is a jerk, full of himself. I laugh at him

Found my way here after ingesting more than a few Suspicious Observers vids & even watched many of Doug Vogt today!

You seem to attack a lot of people why don't you put your smarts in to a video instead of attacking people you will get more views and I would watch as long as there are multiple studies linked to your thoughts so me can debunk things for ourselves

I take in as much information as I possibly can. I researched what I don't understand and that's a lot. Which brings me to this channel. Very informative. Now on with my studies.

Another good take down, Prof. Dave! I have a question about contracting the consensus.

You often mention that dweebs dont have the requisite training to comment on specific things (Casey Luskin is a Geologist, not a Biologist, Ben Davidson is a lawyer, not an astrophysicist, etc) and you even mentioned that YOU are a chemist, not a physicist/biologist/etc. but that you focus on sharing the consensus of these fields, not challenging it or introducing new hypotheses. That makes sense, and we are all better off for your work (ive learned a LOT from your many serieses here! Thank you!!)

But i guess my question is:

Is there any room in the science community for challenges to consensus from "laypeople", as it were? Could a professional accountant (who just loves chemistry or something) be the guy who stumbled upon something crazy and game-changing while screwing around in his free time? Has the consensus ever been significantly shifted as a result of the findings of someone who DIDN'T have the requisite credentials to challenge the field?

“I wrote a textbook…” lmao I can’t believe he actually said that. That’s an ego driven statement if I’ve heard one. At first I thought he said “I’ll write a textbook…” which is still bad, but not quite as much so.

He relies on an unquestioning audience... I don't mind the electric universe, as long as it covers electromagnetic phenomena...but the earthquake forcing, and his people saying sunspots give them headaches...sigh.

Electric Universe is like Quantum Mysticism, but “quantum” is replaced with “electromagnetic.”

Just think of the victims of his channel who have suffered with anxiety, fear and suicide as I read in one comment due to his narrative of an impending doom very soon. While he profits and pockets the money. His live streams are cringe and hard to watch.

I had a realization today that came to mind & I believe you might be the only one I can discuss this with without sounding crazy. About 10 or more years ago I watched a public broadcasted scientific documentary about how they took a vile of mercury and with the use of a nuclear reactor within a day turned it into gold because mercury is the element below gold on the periodic table. I understand the process because I’ve used nitric acid to turn copper into silver through a similar process. Their reasoning as to why this wasn’t feasible is that the cost to run the nuclear facility for a day far outweighed the value of the small amount of gold created. On my walk just now though, I realized that they’ve actually had free energy patents and processes for a long time possibly before they even released electricity to the public which also means that they literally have achieved true alchemy. The ability to charge matter of any kind into w/e kind they want. That also means that there truly is no limited resources. It’s all a lie & the economy is completely built on it. Gold would mean nothing or silver or even the rarest of chemicals or materials. It just dawned on me that because they’re not limited by the energy problem, they can control all resources with it. Sorry, I was taking my evening walk & this just came to me. I’m sure if you research it, you can find that documentary. & you probably already know that energy is falsely charged to us. This puts also a new perspective on what they’re doing with CERN. It’s much more than we can quantify. & they don’t have power restrictions with that either like they tell us. There’s something more going on & it has nothing to do with helping mankind or learn anything truly scientific.

I came here after listening to stuff on what I thought was a very respected channel - "The Diary of a CEO", in this case with guest Dr. Bret Weinstein. The episode was called "The Professor Banned From Speaking Out: "We Need To Start Preparing Before It's Too Late!”"
Bret Mentioned some things regarding use of models in science, then contradicted himself and referenced a reliable source - Ben Davidson. I stopped and noticed 3 things about that video:
1. The use of "banned" in the video title
2. his self-contradition re scientific models
3. the video outline lists a host of topics, but most of them comprise the ultra-right wing topics hit-list red flags all...

So I stopped the video and went looking for the guy's source - Ben Davidson. I came across this video of yours and feel my questions are now mostly answered .... except for how a Dr. Bret Weinstein would allow himself to be informed by an idiot and how the host of "Diary of a CEO" would fall for him.

Maybe 5 hours ago I watched a video of Dave critiquing another science educator. I told myself just 1 more video, yet here I am watching a 4 year old video. 😂

It's disgusting to me how narcissistically angry these people get when you have a big following and don't just abuse them by peddling the same nonsense. He literally loses sleep over people like you. Homeopathy is NOT pseudoscience. There is so much evidence-especially outside of the United States because the US wants to ban homeopathy be it works and was used before the Rockefellers purposely eliminated it by backing up all medical schools and removing homeopathy schools so that they can make money off of petroleum and all of the products derived from it (they removed the competition)-that homeopathy works.
Homeopathy worked for me! I am can verify that it worked for me and has worked for so many people all over the world. Homeopathy is widely used in Europe and Japan and other countries and is even used by the British Royal family (and has been used by them for over a century.
In fact, homeopathy was used in Cuba as a prophylaxis to prevent cholera and typhoid fever. I read a medical study about it … don’t remember if it was in PubMed or in a medical journal … but you are smart and can research it!

Some people need to be federally barred from pretending to be scientists. How is it any different from a pyramid scheme? Or any other scam?
