HALF ASS MOVIE REVIEWS- Episode 1 - Terminator 2: Judgement Day

Terminator 2 Judgement Day one of the best sequels ever made. A true masterpiece of a sequel that will always stand the test of time I have multiple copies of T2.

Robert Patrick did an amazing job as the T-1000 but I would’ve loved to have seen Billy Idol’s take on the part but his motorcycle crash shut that path down.

Nice review John and Matt! I actually LOL at John's Mum dating the garbage man comment lol. I agree with your sentiments regarding T2 vs T1. Did you know the guy who snaps Arnie when hes put through the window by the T-1000 is William Wisher who co-wrote The Terminator and Terminator 2 and he also played the cop who the Terminator knocks out and takes his car in T1? Also, when Cameron submitted the film to the BBFC they were concerned about the knee capping scenes as that was how republican paramilities punished people in the north of Ireland at the time 🤣. I have a few decent copies of T2, I still have my VHS from the late 90s. I have the original region 2 DVD release in a steel case and it comes with a booklet and that region 1 DVD Matt has. I have the Skynet Edition blu ray and the Studio Canal version. I was wondering, since you guys are only really used to watching the special edition what you think of the alternate ending 'coda'? Personally since Terminator ended for me after T2 I am glad they give us the option to watch the film with this coda at the end on the studio canal release because it gives us a good bookend and closure instead of all the rubbish sequels poisoning my mind lol. Is the Skynet Edition really the best edition to date? Actually, feel free to answer these questions on your weekend Q&A episode! 😆

Lol so funny when I was a kid growing up I literally watched t2 hundreds of times, it's amazing still how well this movie holds up I can still go back and watch this movie and same for me I didn't actually see t1 until I was a teenager and now as an adult it's hard to say which movie I like better it's like 1a, 1b for me, easily though these are some of, if not my favorite movies of all time, to me t1 and t2 are the only valid terminator films unfortunately everything after has been extremely disappointing.

What makes this movie special is that it is peak Americana before Americana was even recognized in cinema. 🤭
