Is it possible to buy Thunderblade x8 WITHOUT SSD?

From B&H it seems to be that it's a little bit bigger, and uses smaller SSDs, so we should not expect a 64TB version anytime soon. Am I correct? I was also expecting it to be cheaper since 8 4TB m.2 SSDs are significantly less expensive than 4 8TB ones. Am I missing something? I know in RAID 5 I get a little bit more from the new enclosure 28TB vs 24TB. Any other change?

I see that it's described as fanless. Is it completely silent in operation? My production environment demands zero equipment noise, which rules out almost all RAID enclosures.
