Thank you for this I love my box set of this,
ОтветитьOTB will never die due to the, script, actors & locations. Even younger generations like it, thanks to everyone that made OTB possible. 👏🏾👏🏾
ОтветитьTruly wonderful scripts by the Ronnie's... a remarkable programme loved 50 years on
ОтветитьGood video
ОтветитьI miss programmes like this, when families would watch together, the telly these days is absolutely rubbish, thankfully they still put the carry on films on
ОтветитьGreat video as always guys but can we finally get the feature length documentary put onto dvd as originally intended several years ago now please so we can have it to keep and treasure.
ОтветитьThe first film, "On The Buses," was released in 1971, the same year as Sir Sean Connery' return to the 007 role in; "Diamonds Are Forever." "On The Buses" took more money than Bond that year. I believe "On The Buses" was the highest grossing film in the UK for that year.
ОтветитьI watched the TV series at the time have all on video will never part with them brilliant comedy 😊😊😊
ОтветитьMichael Robbins was by far the best in this brilliant actor wasted
Ответитьon the buses was my childhood loved every episode every series and those films were so funny many thanks to all the stars and hammer for bringing us and me so much fun into our lives
ОтветитьGreat documentary Maurice..many thanks for the upload.. extremely nostalgic.
ОтветитьRoy skeggs..... Alistair Stewart the news reader on first look
Ответитьfantastic show
ОтветитьFantastic thanks I really enjoyed this documentary
ОтветитьSuch happy times for us oldies they were brilliant actors and characters people quote the "good old days" and that's true in my opinion I'm in my late 60s and enjoyed the 70s so much but life goes on I enjoyed 80s music 90s that's were the rot set in its now a mad rat race, on the buses and carry on films just make you feel good with endless laughter but glad to see youngsters enjoying great timeless comedy...
ОтветитьOn the Buses and the films were the greatest of all the old comedies - RIP the fantastic cast.
Ответитьin the bit where the 2 blokes were talking about holiday on the buses about reg going under the bridge the bloke on the left said the bus lost its roof going under the bridge that was wrong as the decker was already open-top
ОтветитьOn the Buses really isn’t funny. Terrible films and TV series 🚌
Blackadder was much funnier 😂
I miss the days when talented and funny people made comedies that people loved to watch.
ОтветитьI'll ave you Butlaaa....!
Great days.
Holiday On The Buses is the best tv spinoff film. It’s also one of the funniest films of the 70’s.
ОтветитьFilming 8am to 9 pm doesnt sound much fun as it appears 😂😂😂 funny though
Ответитьbrilliant, :)
Ответить2024 and I still watch "On the Busses".
ОтветитьLow brow ITV cumedy for fish n chip mob huh. Cumedy cuntoisseurs favor BBC "Yes prime munster" "Brutas empire" "To the manor bored" etc
ОтветитьExcellent vlog. I was born in Liverpool 1969 never really saw the TV show but got to watch the movies in the early 80s. I went to the Pontins in the early 80s going on the boating lake, in the swimming baths and going the beach were the bus got stranded and remember my mum saying about the 3rd movie being filmed there. Sadly like all the Pontins it is closed down. I know there was a plaque on the front gates saying about Holiday on the buses being filmed there, I went to wales few years ago drove past the camp and saw the plaque. I bet that has now gone.
Ответить"Oh it's a great life on the buses"!
ОтветитьLoved on the buses still watch it today thankyou for the memories my favorite was jack
ОтветитьMutiny on the buses and holiday on the buseswas a classic it was really funny
ОтветитьI am a great fan of this show watching from australia
ОтветитьLooking back now I realise how average this was. Sad really but that’s the way it is.
ОтветитьA lovely documentary, thank you for uploading! 🙂👍
ОтветитьGood documentary
ОтветитьNowadays it is very dated and sexist. It wouldn't see the light of day in today's schedules. Bob Grant who played Jack Harper, the leery conductor never had regular work after OTB ended'. Mounting debts and no work led to him making a 3rd and final suicide attempt in 2003. Typecasting can be deadly if you are unable to break free of a particular character.
ОтветитьWhen Anna died in 2022 the realisation of a great era came to an end bought tears to my eyes but fear not, my mum has always been likened to Olive from her very young days due to the glasses she wore while I was just a baby. I look back on that photograph sometimes with my mum and can't help but still taunt her with an "Oh! Arthur!" with a good telling off from her. 🤣God bless all the cast and crew who have passed, they will be sorely missed but never forgotten, not while I'm still around xx
ОтветитьThis country used to have a soul
ОтветитьWelcome back
ОтветитьHow come there's no Bob Grant?
ОтветитьAbsolute brilliance still watch it and still makes me laugh out loud, god bless all of them cheers 🥂
ОтветитьArfur! Arfur!
ОтветитьOne of the best tv shows ever made
ОтветитьYeah, we love on the busses here, New Zealand.
ОтветитьAre any of the cast members still alive. I know the lady who played Olive passed away not long ago.
ОтветитьA wonderful tribute to a fabulous, fun series that is still well loved today.
ОтветитьWhen comedy was comedy and the whole family could sit down and have a laugh together with no vulgarity in it. God rest them all who were involved
ОтветитьOn the buses was the best comedy evermade and the movies are brilliant
ОтветитьOne of the best ever shows
ОтветитьAlmost everyone in this video is dead.
