Somebody had alot of cats and they said that they would give me one for free. But she said that she didnt like her ragdoll cat because she likes only outside cats. So she gave me ragdoll cat for free. ("She" means the owner who didnt like the ragdoll cat IM NOT LYING SO IF U THINK IM LYING DONT BE MEAN)

I have a beautiful female ragdoll.
She's the boss of all the stray cats in the neighborhood, and she loves being outside on the property. They are very loyal, placid, and as long as you brush them every day, they don't really shed.
I would highly recommend the ragdoll cat.

This is a good video but i disagree with#1,#3,#12!
1.Firstly, Ragdolls ARE hypoallergenic!! I'm allergic to cats and hardly react at all to our rahdoll. Every cat is different, so you need to test the cat to see if you react before you take it home. Some hypoallergenic breeds will still cause reactions in some people.
3. While you are correct that it MAY be a little more risky to have a Ragdoll outdoors because of theft, our Ragdoll absolutely LOVES being outside!! She goes in and out all day and night, climbing trees and hunting mice and birds. We tried keeping her indoors at night but it was awful because she was so desperate to go outside that she was crying and annoying us while we were trying to sleep, so we let her go out.
12. Our Ragdoll is VERY territorial and is always attacking and chasing other cats off our property. We had a new cat come to live with us and that new cat is terrified of the Ragdoll who will chase the new cat constantly. So the new cat hides day and night.

The only other thing is that we only groom our Ragdoll in winter. During summer she doesn't seem to shed or get knots at all. Only in winter when her fur is thick.

No pet cat should be let outdoors, imho. Maybe if you live in the country it’s okay but not in a city. It’s too dangerous for them.

Eight year ragdoll owner here. Some of this is true, and some of it isn’t. Also not all ragdoll dolls like to be held. Every cat is different. But they all want to be around you 24 hours a day and they can be very much pesky in their need for attention.
