Amazon Winter Outfits to Wear Now for Women over 40

Normally I like your outfits however this time they all seem to look like PJ’s. It reminds me of the fad of wearing street wear. Remember the oversized white t-shirts with black print paired with baggie black jeans? People with a ton of money wearing hood clothes. But I guess if you can’t beat them join them.

Love your videos. I'm turning 82 years old, but like keeping up with the styles. Of course, I feel like I'm limited to what styles I can wear.

Thanks for the recommendations. I just bought the quarter zip hoodie and leggings. Can't wait for them to arrive. I have a long puffer vest that was a gift from a few years ago. Still haven't worn it yet. I live in California and the weather is mild in the winter compared to other parts of the country. I appreciate your styling of it. BTW, I am 5’5-1/2” but have super long legs, so I still have to beware with buying pants online. What is usually fine or even too long on most women is usually way too short on me. That’s right, I’m crazy short-waisted. Thanks for all your videos. I love them.

I feel cardigans, whatever the length, are pretty classic. I heard someone say the color blocked ones were not trendy anymore…just goes to show, wear it if you like it, regardless of what others say is trendy or not. Some, not all, of the lady jackets remind me of things my grandma used to wear. They’re ok, but sometimes some of the styles or material remind me of a grandma.

I sure wish most sweaters nowadays didn’t have that shoulder seam that runs half way down the arm. It’s a cheap way of making clothes.

As a Midwesterner I had to laugh when you showed the coat and said it would be perfect for temps in the 40s and 50s. Here in WI we don't put on a coat until it is in the 30s. Do love the items you show. I live in a rural area where there are no clothing stores. I HATE clothing shopping so do a LOT of it online. Didn't know Amazon had such nice clothing. Will be checking them out.

Would you please do a video on bathing suits. At 55, I would like to wear something that is flattering, pretty, and appropriate. I find most styles either look good on the early twenty something’s that have perfectly toned bodies, or they look frumpy. Please find some options that have pretty colors and styles and are wearable, practical, and flattering.

If it's too long, take it to an alterationist. It's what they specialize in, and if you don't bring them business throughout the year, they won't be there for you later for things like wedding and formal wear alterations.
