Here we go…..I have felt very connected to Brandon Lake, I didn’t know why. Several years ago, I was really being railed by Satan. I would see Spirits in my room, saints…..John The Beloved, St. Therese of Liseaux. A younger looking spirit, I learned was my angel Tobias. I have seen him. I believe. Random is Tobias. I would see him in white with a golden sash. I saw in the Spirit, two angels soon befor Dean was gone. I slept downstairs, on the sofa, very tall angels, one at my head, one at my feet. It reminded me of the two angels in the tomb after Jesus’ resurrection.

So many things I did not feel free to share. When I did I was given many psychotropic drugs. I recalled Paul being taken I think to the third level of heaven. He was given a thorn to keep him from being puffed up. I never felt like I should inflate visions. Two weeks after Dean was gone, pain so deep flooded my soul. Our home was loud with twenty somethings. I slipped into the darkened WPC….sitting in a chair, I s.upped in and wept, staring into the dark towards USAFA cemetery where Deans body was laid. In the Spirit I was taken up to I. Eli eve heaven. Yeshua’ came for me. I was alone in the prayer center, soft worship, my home away from home. Jesus took me up a iron black spiral staircase like the ones t The Rose. Abin. Jesus began to dance with me. I never looked in His face, I knew Him through His Presence, kind, compassionate, tender hearted. I have to let dogs in, grab tea…5 min. Please.

I danced with Shia’ but it was very nonengaging for me. I thought of the Scripture that He draws near to the broken hearted. I was not surprised to be in His Presence, I had live much of my life in His Shadowlands….a dark valley of the shadow. No music, no words. I had the sense that I was inHis Bridal chamber. After sometime, I saw Jesus’ eyes leave me, and I followed His eyes to where Dean was standing leaning against the wall. My heart leapt. The LORD placed our hands together and softly spoke, Dance. The feeling that Inhad was that our marriage had not been fully consummated on earth. I felt irt was an opportunity to be alone with Our Lord…a sort of celebration, an understanding…not necessarily goodbye, but a privilege of being in heaven With Our LOrd and each other. Dean ran down the spiral staircase, our hands clasped. He took me out to a familiar looking vista we had shared on earth. Craggy, snow capped jagged peaks, similar to the Grand Tetons in Jackson Hole where we spent a few nights before he passed away. He led me into a beautiful. Meadow. The flowers were golden yellow like glory. And then The Kings horses were their. It was so beautiful. Dean and I never spoke, but it was so right to be together. I remember softly speaking, I cannot stay, and I turned and was gone.

There's a 4 1/2-minute version that has an extended guitar intro which really enhances the vibe that this song is going for. Either version is solid AF, it's dark and bluesy which is my favorite kind of country.

i love jake owens music i sing his stuff all the time actually i started out several yrs ago in my early 20s singing his stuff along with him and that's how i built up my vocals listening and singing along for yrs with his music and several others i know jake owens music by heart without even looking at the lyrics now i write my own stuff i hope one day i can be up their where he's at in life till then i'll keep writing and making music till someone popular comes along and decides to give me a viral shot at music production
