I've got the Home Depot fake plastic shutters on my house and I hate the look, so I'm slowly pulling them down and trying to figure out what would look better.

My DeWalt couldn't drill through my mortar even with a carbide bit. Could have been my weak lady muscles tho.

Now, those are shutters.

🤣 Love the WFT collection of baby shutters!! 🤣 You must treat each side of the shutters if you want them to stand the past of time, water can still sip behind them during storms or even dew can develop between the stone and the shutter.

It looks great! The tool upgrade that saved me more headaches, time, and effort and made the job so much easier is going from a hammer drill to an SDS plus. Night and day difference when drilling into concrete or masonry work. So worth the $350.

Nice! I agree 100%—don’t do shutters if you can’t match the window width. When your partner twisted his arm off with the Festool, you should have asked HIM if he wanted the Dewalt. 😂 loved the flute music during the shutter clutter examples. 👌

Finally someone else is saying what I’ve been saying. I can’t stand looking at decorative shutters that aren’t the correct size.

Drilling into stone can really wear out your wrist.... I use the M18 combo hammer/drill with the auto shut off so it doesn't torque your wrist when it binds up. Shutters look awesome!
