I left California to live near my grandkids in Arizona. I could not find any place I could afford. My only income is social security. So I kept going to Mexico. I live well and feel safe here. People are friendlier, food is cheaper and healthier and no MAGA anywhere.

why don't these construction companies gather together and make small shelters with all appliances on land that is safe from the heat and floods to help get these people back into communities where they can be of service for others and help build other commuities that are needed again!?

People make choices....it is not a matter of "no safety nets"...people make choices, choose not see changes coming and prepare properly for them, choose to giver up on themselves because they are lazy....any number of reasons. I can't speak to Phoenix, but I live in Tucson and was just downtown a few hours ago. We don't have homeless lining the sidewalks. I also noticed a lot of the clips they show are from other cities outside of AZ. So this vid may not be accurate.

WOODFIELD is in SCHAUMBURG a northwest suburb of Chicago. How DO know? Because i WORKED at Woofield Mall, and went to Schaumburg high school. So I call bullshit. The homeless migrate up north during the summer months. Flagstaff , Prescott , and show low because cooler places with a lot of open space and pine trees for people to stay. They come into town to get food , water and free stuff from the food banks and local missions. The smaller towns are not equipped to handle homeless populations. Obviously throwing money at the situation isnt helping. Places like California have spent billions of dollars on the homeless and yet the numbers are climbing. We need to cut off the freebies as many of these people make this a full time job mooching off the government. I have heard that homeless complained so much about free food that the city hired a actual chef to cook free meals???
