CZ SHADOW 2 COMPACT...THE BEST COMPACT CARRY GUN EVER?

For people who don’t like 1911 style condition 1 carry w a safety. You want to carry this quarter cocked for the DA pull without the hammer resting on the firing pin. Without modding to an extended firing pin is a moot point. People say it isn’t safe without a fpb because of the s2 incident. It’s already been proven multiple times the extended fp is the only reason that happened.

My shadow 2 compact came in today!!! For anyone wondering weight fully loaded it feels the same weight as my Glock 34 with a light, red dot, and +5 mag extension (loaded). It’s a hefty Glock 19. But the weight is soooooo down from the Shadow 2 (also have it they weight is unbelievable difference) beautiful gun videos just don’t do it justice

Finally Got One was hard to Find . I sure Like it . I have a cz shadow 2 orange ,the triggers are very Good i have a staccato C that has my best Trigger . the cz is right There . I Like to carry with the Hammer Down like you safety off . After waiting 8 months i got mine for $1288.00 + Tax.

Will the trigger return spring break? The same spring is used in almost all CZ75 type pistol. My brand new P07 TRS broke after 200 rounds. I won't carry this for self defense.

Just got mine earlier in the week. Can’t wait to give it a beating. Weather permitting. Gotta pay for indoors. My was $1275 Whole setup probably $2000 I don’t think the front sight is bright enough. But I believe it could end up as my EDC. Near perfect in the hand but I’ll probably tweak it some.

Stupid question but I’m new owner. How do you get it to double action after one in chamber? Hope that makes sense

Got mine about a month ago , love this pistol. It shoots a little low when you buy it with their factory 7.5mm front sight , even with the rear sight at maximium height. I did change that sight for a 6.0mm one and its on target now.

Needs wood grips. Metal grips are ugly.

Its a great gun, just don't know if I would ever carry it. I already have it in full size so I will probably eventually get one just don't know how soon.

I got one a month after the release. Love the gun. Hate the safety. Why is it so flat, was it not meant to be used?? I must not be the only one because there isn't one in stock on planet earth.

Is the guide rod on the s2c metal?

If u have a cz p01 with Cajun trigger job don’t need a shadow at all, cz my favorite brand the most reliable and ergonomic guns.

Decocker instead of safety would make it perfect!

Nice gun. Would like to see a de-cocker on it though. I'd prefer carrying it double action first shot, but don't like that the hammer has to be manually lowered on a live round.

I absolutely love Crossbreed Super Tucks as well, and have an excellent belt as well, but, unless you know something I don't know, Crossbreed does not yet have a holster for the Shadow 2 Compact yet, do they???

I would never allow a Glock anywhere near my CZ , hope you cleaned your Shadow and oiled it good, very scary 😮

Subscribe not suscribe please. Nice review, for me, a sub compact like my sig p365 xl Spectre comp is a better size for a carry piece and I have 14 in the mag. I don’t see the value for the extra cost, but it’s a nice gun.

I have a safety preference due to having a kid. One extra layer of protection.

I think all gun reviews should include a category for field stripping ease. For example, the glock can be disassembled stupid easy, the Shadow2 compact will challenge you. Especially if you really don't want to mar your finish.

As a HK VP9 and SK owner, I will surely be grabbing this next. I think this the best looking handgun out there and it is just flat out perfect. CZ definitely holds a special place in my heart for a reason.

I can’t find any reputable holster makers making holsters for it.

I prefer Dara for my holsters and I noticed for appendix carry not many companies use “soft loops” for where to put the belt thru, I’m not a fan of the clip on holsters.

If you don't want to pay the $1,200 get a P-01, put a Cajun Pro package in it, and your 95% the way there.

I love CZ pistols. I carry either the CZ P 01 or the P 09. I’ll have the P 10C soon. I’ve had the CZ 75D as well. They’re all great shooting guns. The Shadow 2 is out of my price range right now, but I hope to have one in the future. CZ triggers are fantastic straight out of the box. Walther is the only other manufacturer that has great triggers right from the factory. You can’t go wrong with a CZ!!
