MG is like Hong Kong , it was British for 100 years and now its China . I wouldn’t by anything made by Chinese if possible, but I would buy a classic MG .

I used to own a ‘76 mg convertible ..ain’t the fastest out there but it wasn’t never meant to drag against the ‘vettes ..but was it ever so fun to drive (except when you run into problems with the electrical- but livable)...then I got married hahahaha

MG may be a good car brand but the parts supply chain should definitely be addressed here in Philippines. Oil filter alone, na-a-out stock sa casa. Baka hindi sila magtagal dito sa Pinas, just saying.

I’m working in the uk now. You wont see mg cars everyday pero its still a good looking car. British cars are not the most reliable cars bdw (land rover, jaguar) mini lang cguro maganda pero mahal maintenance. Pero baka mg bilhin ko pg uwi ko sa pinas 😀

Make no mistake guys this is a Chinese not British Car, Having read lots of customer reviews it is to be AVOIDED , its cheep and nasty. I looked closely at a Philippine model RX5 Alpha in a distributor showroom, It had flat battery, the seat adjust switch was broken, the handbrake auto hold switch did not function AND Believe it or Not, the map for the navigation was not for the Philippines. It has a tyre size 235 50R 18. This tyre is almost impossible to find MG Cars quoted 1-3 weeks special delivery. I would not get involved with this. It looks god but that's it.

Mg is also doing good in India .. it's just i don't know why indians hate Benelli just because it's Chinese but they don't hate mG ... It's so weird .. I bet they still think it's British 😑😑😑 ... Recent misfire of brahmos from India to Pakistan really shows how much of advance technology china have... that their own air defence system in Pakistan failed to detect brahmos ... Lol...

In fact many MG interior design details are identical to Audi

Brother I think its not a Chinese car company its British car brand that is purchased and bought by SAIC ...... :) Sadly it is Chinese the ownership is with Saic but not necessarily Chinese company ...... Geely Great Wall and BYD is a Chinese car company mate you can say that just for correction :) ....
