I am wanting to see your chapter on how melatonin is induced in mitochondria by light, and how it helps glutathione deal with excess reactive oxygen species!
ОтветитьThis information is more detailed than the usual discussions of mitochondria. Very useful! Can’t wait for the book!
ОтветитьWow. This is a very good partial explanation as to why carnivore and keto diets are so beneficial.
ОтветитьSince you’ve raised the issue of supplements to help cardiolipin, saying there are none, please comment on the peptide SS-31, which is reputed to do just that.
Ответитьyour use of the word species has got me perplexed. Oxygen species?
ОтветитьHi Dr Been, thanks for your work and your clear explanations of the science of how all these biochemical processes work. You asked if we like the work you have done on the diagrams, and the answer is YES, they are extraordinary the way you use them communicate the synthesis of the idea is so very effective. I had to pause the video to say that before I forgot. :) Once again, thank you.
ОтветитьWow, an excellent video. Very clear and detailed explanations.
ОтветитьHi Dr Been, I am delighted you are doing a book. Your explanations and diagrams are superb. You cover all the best subjects too. Greetings from Ireland.
ОтветитьDR BEEN is it a good or bad to drink electrolyte water ?????
ОтветитьWonderful explanation with excellent drawings, we have discussed this topic before, and this is not only a good refresher, but a much deeper insight into the mitochondrial functions. Please let us know when the book will be ready and how we can purchase it in the UK. 🙏 Thank you so much for all of your gifts❤
ОтветитьCan’t wait for the book!
ОтветитьYour drawings, Drbeen, bring biology to life, as always. Look forward to your book. I believe Statins affect CoQ10 production, therefore ETC function. Could this explain , fatigue & inflammation (aches/pains) - especially for those on highest dose statins?
ОтветитьSo glad I subscribed to this channel. Great lecture. Thank you.
ОтветитьOutstanding! How can I preorder your book. That Mitochondrial explanation alone will.make it essential for any biochemistry student.
ОтветитьThank you again for a very informative explanation. When / how will you know that the damage is beyond repair? Even after autophagy?. Looking forward to your book!...
Ответитьwhat do you think of low doses of methylene blue to help mitochondrial function? what are your views on low dose naltrexone? thanks for this video. the visualization your drawings provide helps with explanation and also memory. my 12 year old granddaughter thinks she might like to be a dr or vet. i will see if i can get her interested in watching your videos
ОтветитьThank you for all you do!
ОтветитьFrom the research that shows how the levels of deuterium affect the ATP production why would you not consider eating low deuterium foods? From the studies that started almost 50 years ago it is clear that eating low/no carbs is a very good way to extend our health span as well as lifespan. Ruminant animal fat and meat provide the lowest levels of deuterium available and affordable sources of energy to humans. Seafoods have low levels of deuterium as well.We evolved eating meat and fat and the reasons to not eat plants is abundantly clear with world wide populations of sickness and obesity increasing at a very high rate. The mitochondria ATP motors are slowed by high levels of deuterium which results in lowered energy from eating carbs is a monumental finding. Depleted deuterium water is available but doesn't help the majority of people who can't afford the high cost and wasn't available to our ancestors and they developed the largest brains and filled every continent with the exception of Antarctica before recorded history. They sailed or walked to these continents by eating primarily animals because plants don't provide the energy required for long and arduous journeys as well as reproduction of those humans.
ОтветитьHi dr Mobeen! Thanks for the video. When do you estimate the book will be available? Will it be available in electronic form as well?
ОтветитьI’ve been low energy or fatigued almost my whole life. The B vitamins are critical to my functioning. I’ve tried CoQ10, but it causes more fatigue—I wonder why that is. I can take ubiquinol, though—is it of any benefit?
ОтветитьIt sounds as if this is ultimately why statins are devastating...such a deception since HIV time.
ОтветитьI think also the ATP leaks out of the cell through damaged or weak membranes.
ОтветитьI'm sitting in my red light room watching this 😁
ОтветитьIf I'm not mistaken, melatonin would be a particularly good antioxidant to protect cardiolipin.
ОтветитьI'd love to hear about mitochondrial dysfunction and how to fix it. I'd like to hear about how covid damages the mitochondria (like the brain talk just published). I'd like to hear about cofactors for the mitochondria and the membrane transporters.
ОтветитьI'd also like to hear about how sunshine impacts the mitochondria in detail.
ОтветитьThis is definitely not specifically about mitochondria, though it might help the mitochondria indirectly. I'd love to hear about which probiotic species and strain and brand name is most helpful in acute covid? A full talk on this would be great!
ОтветитьCan’t wait for the book!!!
ОтветитьYour diagrams are so special. You have a real talent. It really helps explain what you are saying.. My question is, can I take too much Coq 10 or other suppliments that could damage my ect. chain or anything else? . I have had chronic fatigue syndrome for 30 years and take many suppliments. I started low but have boosted my intake of these suppliments thru time. Can I ever take too much.
ОтветитьPlease let us know when your book is published! Thank you.
ОтветитьExcellent presentation and drawings are absolutely the best!!! Master teacher!!
ОтветитьThanks for the info doc! Beautiful and playfull illustrations indeed!
ОтветитьI will buy your book "just for your drawings"!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM!
ОтветитьYou are a gift to the world. May all - have the ears to hear!
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьI love your drawings! This is the most adorable explanation of the mitochondria's electron transport train ever!
ОтветитьBeautifully illustrated drawings! Go, Dr. Been!
ОтветитьThank you very much Dr Bean for all the work you do really. I look forward to the book and I always look forward to your videos as they have taught me a lot and I'm hoping helped me in my old age. (Life is a gift, and we have to cherish it)
ОтветитьAnd how shots injure mitochondria? Can or want you talk about it?
ОтветитьViruses, bacteria and Mycotoxins deregulate mitochondria, Gene's play a role in mitochondria synthesis also.
ОтветитьWhat would a person be putting in there bodies to cause this ?
ОтветитьDr. Been, been a few years, since covid, glad you're at the cellular and molecular level of mitochondria. I actually shook hands with Hans Krebs in his lecture at SW Medical School in the early 1970's.
ОтветитьI really love your lectures. Thank you.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьThank you for continuing to educate the ill!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThanks Dr . It was again an excellent and thought provoking discussion
